Master Your Destiny: The Power of Deliberate Decisions in Leadership and Personal Growth
Doing the “D” word—deciding—is how we deliberately dictate our dreams. You can use whatever letters or tactics you like, but it all begins with making a choice about how to direct your own life.
Descriptions ultimately do not matter. Decisions do.
I could go on and on using words that begin with the letter D to describe anything, but until I make a decision to act on those words, they are just that—words.
A great leader must decide to be one. Otherwise, the “great” part may be left up to someone else’s discretion.
Make a decision. Make it a fact—not merely an opinion.
Most of the time, people will have opinions about your facts, and that’s okay. It simply means they care. Opinions can change. Facts are facts—and others cannot change them.
Decide what you want your facts to be, and become the example by which you choose to lead.
Great leaders made a choice to be great—whether intentionally or not. When the opinions of others align with that choice, an influential individual is formed, shaping how their followers will lead in turn.
Decide to make decisions that dictate your life. By doing so, your inspirations become facts—facts that influence others to make decisions as they build their own personal paths.
