Who Am I ?
A poetic reflection on finding purpose and becoming a beacon of hope for others in their darkest moments.
Who Am I?
Gentle breezes and dancing leaves,
A sailboat surfing on the sea.
Sunlight shining with radiant light,
Nurturing fruits, birds taking flight.
The hustle and bustle of urban life,
Noises and voices, many filled with strife.
What is the goal of all this toil?
What meaning does life reveal from all this turmoil?
I am your voice when you have none,
I am your eyes when yours are gone.
I am your mind when yours has withered,
I am your dreams when yours are shattered.
I am your spirit when you are searching,
I am your strength when you are weakening.
I am your light when you can see none,
I am your hope when you feel all is gone.
I am your family if you have none,
I am the shoulder you can cry on.
I am the voice of the old, weak, and frail.
I am a lion, a protector—not a snail.
Courage is not being adamant in your ways;
Kindness and love can bring brighter days.
