Your Journey to Becoming an Influential Woman in the Spa & Wellness Industry

The Influence of Wellness: Leading Through Care, Connection, and Impact

Becoming an influential woman in the spa and wellness industry is not about having the loudest voice in the room—it’s about making a lasting impact on the people around you.

My journey in the spa industry has been shaped by more than seven years of experience, leadership, and a genuine passion for helping others feel their best. Throughout my career, I’ve learned that wellness is about so much more than treatments. It’s about creating an experience where people feel valued, cared for, and confident.

As a spa manager, every day brings a new challenge. Whether I’m finding ways to elevate the guest experience, supporting my team, or challenging myself to grow as a leader, I’ve learned to embrace each opportunity as a chance to become better. Leadership has taught me that success isn’t just about what you accomplish personally—it’s about the positive impact you have on others.

One of the values I hold closest is making people feel good about themselves. Whether it’s a guest leaving a treatment feeling refreshed or a team member feeling supported and appreciated, those moments are what make this industry so rewarding to me. I believe that when the people around you feel good, the entire environment becomes better.

My journey has also taught me that mistakes and challenges are part of becoming a stronger leader. There have been moments when I questioned myself or worried that a mistake could set me back. Instead, I learned to take responsibility, learn from the experience, and use it as an opportunity for growth. Those moments have ultimately shaped the manager and leader I am today.

I believe the future of spa and wellness is centered around connection, personalization, and creating experiences that go beyond the traditional definition of self-care. As the industry continues to evolve, I want to be part of that evolution by bringing creativity, authenticity, and genuine care into everything I do.

For me, becoming an influential woman isn’t about a title. It’s about showing up, continuing to learn, supporting others, and leaving people feeling a little better than when they found you.

That is the kind of influence I want to have—and the legacy I hope to continue building throughout my career.
