Barbara Miller, MBA, is a Senior Data Analyst at UnitedHealth Group, where she partners with the sourcing and procurement team to analyze data, evaluate vendor deals, and support strategic decision-making through advanced reporting tools and dashboards. With a background in accounting and finance, Barbara brings a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to her role, ensuring that procurement decisions are both data-driven and aligned with organizational goals.

Barbara began her career in accounting and finance, holding positions at Abbott, Medica, Pentair, and Girl Scouts River Valleys, where she gained valuable experience in financial analysis, process improvement, and operational efficiency. Seeking a more dynamic, customer-facing role, she expanded her technical skillset through training in SQL and Power BI, which led her to transition into business analysis. Barbara earned her MBA in Data Analytics from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.

Outside of her professional career, Barbara is deeply committed to mentorship and community service. She volunteers as an e-mentor with Best Prep, guiding high school students in their career development, and supports the Special Olympics Minnesota through her involvement on the Young Professionals Board. In her personal time, she enjoys pickleball, downhill skiing, and staying active outdoors. Recognized as an influential woman representing Minnesota for 2026, Barbara is passionate about empowering others and leveraging her skills to drive meaningful impact.
