01What do you attribute your success to?
My faith has kept me going even when I didn't want to. When I wanted to give up, I couldn't let go. It was just something in me that said, no, you cannot give up. So I thank God for not giving up on me, and I didn't give up on myself. I give it all to my faith.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Two people hold a particularly meaningful place in Belinda's journey: her mother, Shirley Wright, and her pastor, Herbert Lusk III.
Shirley is more than Belinda's mother—she is her biggest cheerleader and best friend. Throughout Belinda's life, her mother has remained steadfastly supportive, offering love, encouragement, and a sense of security that Belinda deeply treasures.
Her pastor, Herbert Lusk III, has played a different but equally important role. Where encouragement is sometimes needed, he provides it; where accountability is necessary, he provides tough love and truth. His influence has helped challenge Belinda to grow, remain grounded, and continue moving forward.
Together, these two relationships have given Belinda both affirmation and accountability—two forces that have helped shape the woman and leader she is today.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be yourself. Never feel intimidated or feel like your life and your story is not enough. Be yourself, share your truth, and be unapologetic about it. When you're truly being yourself, your people will find you and your message is what they need.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
In 2023 I went into the hospital for two major surgeries but had several complications. I developed blood clots on my lungs. My kidneys began to fail. I didn't know when I went in that I had lymphedema. And that just my legs, I had to be in a wheelchair temporarily. I was on a walker. And, I mean, just to still be able to walk. I'm so grateful. It could have been worse. My faith sustained me through it.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity is so important to me. I always am the type of person who I am behind closed doors is the same person you're gonna meet when I'm out. I'm not gonna be hypocritical. I'm not gonna try to hide anything. I am who I am. Integrity is just being a person of your word. I value people's time. Kindness costs nothing to be kind to people. Valuing people, and most importantly just your character, always looking to grow, always looking to build your character so that you can always be a light for other people.

A Faith Declaration and Belief in the Power of Prayer
"Pray without ceasing."
1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)
There is power in prayer.
Prayer is not simply a religious exercise. It is communication with God. It is where we bring our hearts, burdens, questions, hopes, desires, fears, families, dreams, assignments, and circumstances before the One who has all power.
Prayer is where we surrender what we cannot control and trust the God who can.
There will be seasons when we understand what God is doing, and there will be seasons when we don't.
There will be prayers that seem to be answered immediately and prayers that require us to wait. There will be moments when circumstances appear to contradict what we believe God has spoken.
But our responsibility is not to understand everything.
Our responsibility is to believe God.
We are called to pray. We are called to stand. We are called to believe. We are called to trust. And we are called to continue praying even when we cannot yet see the manifestation of what we have asked God to do.
Prayer Changes Things
We've heard the phrase "Prayer changes things," and there is truth behind it.
- Prayer can change circumstances.
- Prayer can change perspectives.
- Prayer can change hearts.
- Prayer can bring wisdom.
- Prayer can bring peace.
- Prayer can open doors.
- Prayer can close doors.
- Prayer can expose what was hidden.
- Prayer can give us strength to walk away from what God never ordained.
- Prayer can give us courage to walk toward what God has called us to.
And sometimes, prayer changes us before God changes the situation.
We may enter prayer asking God to change everyone around us, only to discover that God wants to change something within us first.
That is the beauty of prayer.
When we pray, we invite God into the situation.
"The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." James 5:16 (KJV)
Prayer is powerful because God is powerful.
We don't place our confidence in the eloquence of our prayers. We place our confidence in the God who hears them.
THERE IS POWER IN YOUR TONGUE
Scripture tells us:
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Proverbs 18:21 (KJV)
Our words matter.
What we repeatedly speak can influence what we believe, how we think, how we behave, and how we approach our circumstances.
That doesn't mean we can simply say something and magically force God to do whatever we want.
Faith is not manipulation.
Declaring God's Word is not about trying to control God. It is about agreeing with God.
There is a difference.
When we declare God's Word, we are reminding ourselves of what God has said instead of allowing our circumstances to become the loudest voice in our lives.
Instead of:
"I'm never going to get through this."
We can say:
"God is my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
(Psalm 46:1)
Instead of:
"I don't know what I'm going to do."
We can declare:
"God will give me wisdom."
(James 1:5)
Instead of:
"I'm going to be stuck here forever."
We can declare:
"God is ordering my steps."
(Psalm 37:23)
Instead of:
"I am alone."
We can remember:
"I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
(Hebrews 13:5)
Instead of allowing fear to dictate our future, we can declare:
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)
Our circumstances may be real, but God's Word is greater than our circumstances.
DECLARE, DECREE, AND SPEAK BY FAITH
We should be careful with the language of "decreeing" and "declaring."
We are not God.
We don't create reality by the power of our words independent of Him.
But we can declare God's promises, speak His Word, agree with His truth, and pray in faith.
There is tremendous power in saying:
"Lord, I don't know how You're going to do it, but I believe You can."
"I don't understand this season, but I trust You."
"I cannot see the way, but I know You are the Way."
"I don't know what tomorrow holds, but I know You hold tomorrow."
That's faith.
Faith doesn't deny reality.
Faith declares that reality does not have the final word; God does.
PRAY EVEN WHEN YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND
One of the greatest tests of faith is learning how to pray when God has not yet answered the way we expected.
Anybody can praise God when everything is working.
- But what happens when the phone doesn't ring?
- What happens when the door doesn't open?
- What happens when the relationship ends?
- What happens when the diagnosis comes?
- What happens when the business is struggling?
- What happens when the money is tight?
- What happens when your child is making decisions you don't agree with?
- What happens when your marriage is under attack?
- What happens when your purpose seems delayed?
- What happens when you have prayed for years and still haven't seen the manifestation?
Will you still pray?
Will you still believe?
Will you still trust?
Will you still say, "God, You are good" when you don't understand what He is doing?
That's where faith becomes more than a statement.
It becomes a lifestyle.
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
Paul didn't tell us to pray only when we have an emergency.
He said:
"Pray without ceasing." 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)
Prayer should become part of our lifestyle.
- Pray when you're happy.
- Pray when you're disappointed.
- Pray when you're confused.
- Pray when you're celebrating.
- Pray when you're grieving.
- Pray before you make decisions.
- Pray after you make decisions.
- Pray when you know what to do.
- Pray when you don't know what to do.
Don't make prayer your last resort. Make prayer your first response.
- Before you respond emotionally-pray.
- Before you send that text-pray.
- Before you make that decision-pray.
- Before you accept that opportunity-pray.
- Before you enter that relationship-pray.
- Before you walk away-pray.
- Before you sign the contract-pray.
- Before you launch the business-pray.
- Before you say yes-pray.
- Before you say no-pray.
PRAY OVER YOUR FAMILY
Don't underestimate the power of intercession.
- Pray for your children.
- Pray for your spouse.
- Pray for your parents.
- Pray for your siblings.
- Pray for your grandchildren.
- Pray for relatives who have walked away from God.
- Pray for family members struggling with addiction, fear, confusion, unforgiveness, anger, financial difficulties, unhealthy relationships, or destructive decisions.
And while you pray, remember:
You are not the Savior. Jesus is.
You don't have to carry the responsibility of fixing everybody.
You can place them in God's hands.
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do for someone is stop trying to control them and start interceding for them.
PRAY OVER YOUR PURPOSE AND DESTINY
Your purpose matters.
Your assignment matters.
The gifts God placed inside of you matter.
So pray over them.
Ask God:
- "What are You calling me to do?"
- "What are You calling me to release?"
- "Who are You calling me to serve?"
- "Who am I supposed to become?"
- "Give me wisdom to recognize what is from You and what is not."
Not every opportunity is an assignment.
Not every open door is a God door.
Not every relationship is a divine connection.
Not everyone who celebrates you is assigned to you.
That's why we need discernment.
We need prayer.
We need wisdom.
We need to hear God clearly.
PRAY OVER YOUR BUSINESS AND CAREER
- Before you build, pray.
- Before you launch, pray.
- Before you hire, pray.
- Before you partner, pray.
- Before you sign contracts, pray.
- Before you make major financial decisions, pray.
Ask God for wisdom, integrity, creativity, strategy, favor, discernment, and the right people.
And don't simply pray:
"God, bless my business."
Pray:
"God, make my business a vehicle through which I can serve people, honor You, create value, operate with integrity, and fulfill the assignment You have given me."
Because success without obedience isn't the goal.
Alignment with God is the goal.
PRAY OVER YOUR HEALTH AND YOUR MIND
- Pray over your body.
- Pray over your habits.
- Pray over your appetite.
- Pray for discipline.
- Pray for wisdom concerning what you put into your body.
- Pray for strength to care for the temple God has entrusted to you.
And pray over your mind.
There are battles that cannot be seen with the physical eye.
- Fear.
- Anxiety.
- Discouragement.
- Negative thinking.
- Shame.
- Regret.
- Comparison.
- Insecurity.
- Unforgiveness.
Sometimes the battlefield is your mind.
That's why Scripture tells us:
"Bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ." 2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV)
You don't have to believe every thought that enters your mind.
Take the thought captive.
Examine it.
Compare it to God's Word.
If it contradicts what God says, don't build your life around it.
PRAY OVER YOUR COMMUNITY AND NATION
Prayer shouldn't stop at our front door.
- Pray for your neighborhood.
- Pray for your city.
- Pray for your community.
- Pray for churches.
- Pray for schools.
- Pray for families.
- Pray for leaders.
- Pray for those who are hurting.
- Pray for those who are vulnerable.
- Pray for peace.
- Pray for justice.
- Pray for wisdom.
- Pray for protection.
- Pray for repentance.
- Pray for revival.
- Pray for our nation.
Regardless of political affiliation, personal opinion, or disagreement, we can pray.
- We can ask God to give leaders wisdom.
- We can ask God to expose corruption.
- We can ask God to protect the innocent.
- We can ask God to bring healing where there is division.
- We can ask God to give His people courage to stand for truth while walking in love.
WATCH YOUR WORDS
If we believe there is power in the tongue, then we have to become more intentional about what comes out of our mouths.
We cannot spend all day declaring:
- "Nothing ever works for me."
- "I'm always broke."
- "Nobody likes me."
- "My children will never amount to anything."
- "I'll never be happy."
- "Everybody is against me."
- "Nothing good ever happens to me."
And then wonder why our minds remain trapped in hopelessness.
We must learn to speak differently.
This doesn't mean pretending everything is perfect.
It means refusing to allow negativity to become our confession.
There is a difference between saying:
"This is difficult."
and
"This will never get better."
There is a difference between:
"I'm hurting."
and
"I will always be broken."
There is a difference between:
"I don't have the answer yet."
and
"There is no answer."
One acknowledges reality.
The other can establish hopelessness.
Speak truth. Speak life. Speak with wisdom. Speak with love. Speak with faith.
PRAYING IN FAITH
Jesus said:
"What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Mark 11:24 (KJV)
Faith doesn't mean demanding that God do exactly what we want.
Faith means trusting God enough to believe that He knows what is best.
Sometimes God's answer is yes.
Sometimes it is no.
Sometimes it is wait.
Sometimes God answers differently than we expected.
But even when His answer is different from ours, He remains God.
That's why mature prayer sounds like:
"Father, this is what I desire, but Your will be done."
Jesus modeled this for us in the garden.
He brought His desire before the Father, but ultimately surrendered to the Father's will.
That is powerful prayer.
PRAYER CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS
Jesus said:
"If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." Matthew 17:20 (KJV)
- Some mountains require persistence.
- Some require patience.
- Some require obedience.
- Some require forgiveness.
- Some require changing our own behavior.
- Some require us to wait.
- And some require a miracle that only God can perform.
But don't be afraid of the mountain.
Pray about it.
Stand before God with it.
Believe God concerning it.
Seek His wisdom about it.
And when necessary, keep praying until your perspective changes or the mountain moves.
GOD IS STILL LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO WILL STAND
God can use a praying woman.
- He can use someone who has been through divorce.
- Someone who has been betrayed.
- Someone who has been rejected.
- Someone who has experienced disappointment.
- Someone who has cried in private.
- Someone who has had to start over.
- Someone who has made mistakes.
- Someone who doesn't have all the answers.
- Someone who simply says: "Lord, use me."
God is looking for people who will stand in faith.
- People who will believe when others doubt.
- People who will pray when others complain.
- People who will speak life when others speak destruction.
- People who will intercede when others walk away.
- People who will stand in the gap.
"And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land..." Ezekiel 22:30 (KJV)
What if your prayer is the prayer God uses to encourage somebody else?
What if your intercession becomes the covering someone needed in their darkest hour?
What if your faith-filled words become the reminder someone needed not to give up?
What if God wants to work through you?
YOUR PRAYER MAY BE SOMEONE ELSE'S BREAKTHROUGH
Never underestimate what happens when you pray.
- You may never know who was strengthened because you prayed.
- You may never know what God protected.
- You may never know what He prevented.
- You may never know what door He closed.
- You may never know what conversation He interrupted.
- You may never know what person He positioned.
- You may never know what miracle was set in motion.
But pray anyway.
- Because prayer is not wasted.
- Tears are not wasted.
- Intercession is not wasted.
- Faith is not wasted.
- Waiting is not wasted.
God hears.
God sees.
God knows.
And God is able.
A FAITH DECLARATION
Today, I declare that God is still God.
I declare that He is faithful.
I declare that He is sovereign.
I declare that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I can ask or think.
I declare that I will not allow fear to dictate my future.
I declare that I will not allow my circumstances to silence my faith.
I declare that I will guard my mouth and be intentional about the words I speak.
I will speak life.
I will speak truth.
I will speak love.
I will speak God's Word.
I will pray for my family.
I will pray over my purpose.
I will pray over my destiny.
I will pray over my health.
I will pray over my mind.
I will pray over my business.
I will pray over my career.
I will pray over my community.
I will pray over my relationships and associations.
I will pray over my assignments.
I will pray over my nation.
I will pray when I understand.
I will pray when I don't understand.
I will pray when I see the answer.
I will pray while I'm waiting for the answer.
I will trust God even when I cannot trace Him.
I will believe God even when circumstances look contrary to His promises.
I will not give up because I haven't seen it yet.
I will pray without ceasing.
I will stand in faith.
I will stand on the Word of God.
I will stand in the gap.
I will believe that God can change hearts, change circumstances, open doors, close doors, restore what was lost, heal what was broken, and make a way where there seems to be no way.
And above all else:
I surrender my will to God's will.
Because my faith is not in my ability to make something happen.
My faith is in the God who can.
KEEP LOOKING UP
- Whatever you're facing today, pray.
- Whatever you're believing God for, pray.
- Whatever mountain is standing in front of you, pray.
- Whatever situation concerns you, pray.
- Whatever person is on your heart, pray.
- Whatever assignment God has given you, pray.
And when you have prayed, keep trusting.
Don't allow the silence to convince you that God isn't listening.
Don't allow the delay to convince you that God has forgotten you.
Don't allow the opposition to convince you that the promise is dead.
Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep standing. Keep trusting. Keep looking up.
Because our hope is not in what we see.
Our hope is in God.
"Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come." Proverbs 31:25 (KJV)
God is still God.
God is still faithful.
Prayer still matters.
Faith still matters.
Your words matter.
Your assignment matters.
And your story is not over.
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING.
BELIEVE BY FAITH.
SPEAK LIFE.

You Already Have What It Takes
I'm here to remind you of something:
You already have what it takes.
The gifts. The talents. The abilities. The experience. The wisdom. The voice. The influence. The anointing. The strength.
It's already in you.
God has placed something inside of you that the world needs. You have a purpose, and with purpose comes responsibility—the responsibility to use what has been placed within you to make a positive difference.
And know this:
YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR PERMISSION.
You already got the GREEN LIGHT! 🟢
- If God called you, you don't need everybody else to validate you.
- If God equipped you, you don't need everybody else to approve of you.
- If God gave you the gift, you don't need permission to use it.
SHOW UP.
There are people waiting for you to show up unapologetically. People waiting for you to show up unashamed. People waiting for you to walk in your God-given confidence and capability.
Because you may be the solution to a problem. You may be the answer to a prayer. You may be the encouragement someone desperately needs. You may be the woman God is positioning for such a time as this.
So, get off the sidelines.
Stop shrinking. Stop second-guessing. Stop waiting for everyone to validate you. Stop talking yourself out of what God has called you to do.
Use your voice. Use your influence. Use your gifts. Use your story. Use your experience. Use what you have been through and what you have overcome to help somebody else.
And whatever you do…
DON'T YOU DARE GIVE UP!
Keep pressing forward. Keep showing up. Keep being a positive influence. Keep being a positive voice. Keep being the light. Keep being the woman God created you to be.
You may not see the full impact of your obedience yet, but YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE.
Somebody is watching. Somebody is listening. Somebody is being encouraged. Somebody is finding courage because you refused to quit.
So, Influential Woman…
Keep showing up in your greatness. Keep walking in your God-given confidence. Keep using what God placed within you. Keep becoming. Keep building. Keep impacting. Keep looking up.
Don't let discouragement or a setback stop you.
You already have what it takes. You don't need permission. You already got the green light. 🟢

Your Voice Matters
There is power in a voice.
A voice can encourage someone who is ready to give up. It can speak hope into a situation that seems hopeless. It can remind someone of their worth when life has convinced them otherwise. Sometimes, one conversation, one word, or one moment of kindness can change the trajectory of another person's life.
Your voice matters.
But our voice is not the only thing that matters. Our walk matters. Our choices matter. Our decisions matter. How we treat people matters. Our faith walk matters.
As women of influence, we must recognize that people are watching more than what we say. They are watching how we live.
When we choose to live with integrity, maintain moral standards, and walk in the fear of God, we become intentional about the lives we lead—not because we believe we are perfect, but because we understand that our lives can point others toward something greater than ourselves.
Jesus said in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
What if our lives became the light someone needed during a dark season?
What if our integrity caused someone to ask, “What is different about her?”
What if our kindness opened the door to a conversation that ultimately led someone to ask, “What must I do to be saved?”
That is influence.
Influence isn't always about standing on a stage, having a large following, or holding a prestigious title. Sometimes, influence looks like sitting beside someone who is hurting. Sometimes, it looks like listening without judgment. Sometimes, it is checking on someone simply because the Holy Spirit placed them on your heart.
It only takes a moment to show kindness.
It only takes a moment to show empathy.
It only takes a moment to pause and remember that everyone is going through something.
We don't always know what someone is carrying behind their smile. We don't know what happened before they walked into the room. We don't know what battle they are fighting silently.
And in a world where there is already so much division, anger, pain, and uncertainty, our intentionality matters.
Our willingness to be transparent matters.
Our sincerity matters.
Our ability to love people well matters.
We don't have to compromise our convictions to show compassion. We don't have to agree with someone to treat them with dignity. And we don't have to become like the world to make an impact on the world.
We can be women of conviction and women of compassion.
We can speak truth and speak it in love.
We can stand on biblical principles and extend grace.
We can use our voices to uplift instead of tear down, encourage instead of belittle, and build instead of destroy.
Proverbs 18:21 reminds us, “The tongue has the power of life and death.”
Think about that.
Life and death are in the power of our words.
So, what are we choosing to release?
Are our words giving someone courage or crushing their confidence?
Are we building people up or constantly pointing out their shortcomings?
Are we speaking from a place of love, wisdom, and conviction, or are we speaking from anger, jealousy, insecurity, or pride?
Every day, we have an opportunity to make a choice.
I choose life.
I choose words that encourage.
I choose kindness.
I choose compassion.
I choose integrity.
I choose to walk in a way that reflects the God I serve.
And I choose to use what God has given me not simply for my own advancement, but to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Because your influence is greater than you may realize.
Someone may find courage because you chose to share your story.
Someone may keep going because you took the time to encourage them.
Someone may see Christ differently because of how you treated them.
Someone may believe that healing is possible because they watched you walk through your own journey with faith.
Your voice has the power to change things.
Your voice has the power to transform lives.
Your voice has the power to uplift.
Your voice has the power to encourage.
Your voice has the power to build.
And your life has the power to be a light in the darkness.
So, let's be intentional about the voices we use and the lives we live.
Let's use our platforms, our experiences, our stories, our influence, and our voices to make a difference.
Let's leave people better because they encountered us.
And let's never underestimate the power of one word, one act of kindness, one sincere conversation, or one woman willing to live her life with purpose and conviction.
Your voice matters.
Your walk matters.
Your life matters.
What will you do with the influence God has given you?
Choose life. Speak life. Live as a light.
