Caren Fewell, PCAM

Caren Fewell, PCAM, is a seasoned executive leader, consultant, and strategic advisor with more than 30 years of experience in community management, organizational leadership, and operational excellence. She is the Founder and Principal Advisor of BoardPath Advisors, where she helps self-managed homeowners associations (HOAs), nonprofit boards, and management teams strengthen governance, improve decision-making, and operate with greater clarity and alignment. Throughout her career, Caren has focused on bringing structure, strategy, and a people-centered approach to complex organizations and communities.

Before founding BoardPath Advisors, Caren held executive leadership roles within some of the largest community management organizations in the industry, including serving as President of Blue Mountain Community Management, Inc., and Vice President positions with leading property management firms. She has successfully overseen large teams, multimillion-dollar budgets, and high-stakes operations while driving measurable growth, improving financial performance, and developing high-performing teams. Her expertise includes strategic planning, governance, financial stewardship, leadership development, community association management, and organizational transformation.

Caren holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and is a Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM), the highest professional designation offered by the Community Associations Institute. Beyond her consulting work, she is deeply committed to community service through nonprofit board involvement, youth-focused initiatives, arts organizations, and volunteer programs that support underserved communities. She is recognized for her ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and empower leaders to make informed decisions that create stronger, more connected communities.
