Cathleen Dixon

Cathleen (Moore) Dixon is a seasoned finance and operations leader with over a decade of experience in corporate accounting, systems implementation, and team management. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Financial Systems at Entertainment Benefits Group (EBG), she plays a critical role in bridging technology and finance—overseeing financial systems that support operational scalability and strategic growth. Prior to this role, Cathleen held the position of Accounting Manager at EBG for more than 11 years, where she helped shape and optimize internal financial processes during a period of rapid company expansion.
Before joining EBG, Cathleen worked in accounting and administrative management roles, gaining valuable experience in administrative leadership, operations, and cross-functional collaboration. Her ability to lead with both structure and empathy has earned her a strong professional reputation and the respect of her colleagues. Beyond her career, Cathleen is passionate about cruising and scuba diving and is a proud dog mom to three beloved pups who are the center of her world.

I attribute my success to never giving up and always pushing forward, no matter the obstacles.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received was, “Stop and listen — you don’t know everything, but don't be afraid to speak up because sometimes you know more than you think you do” which reminded me that you can have confidence and continue to grow with humility and openness.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to listen openly, stay confident in your abilities, and pursue a path that truly excites and inspires you.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is ensuring that the accounting needs are heard early in development projects that are not perceived to be accounting related, where input can have the most meaningful impact.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are patience, choosing to learn from events instead of being a victim to them, and always believing in myself, no matter the challenge.
