Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the ability to create meaningful change in people’s lives. Whether it’s opening doors to new opportunities or supporting literacy through access to books, I’m driven by a passion for helping others reach their potential—especially in areas where resources may have been limited. Seeing that impact firsthand is what continues to motivate me.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the nonprofit and fundraising space is to find a mentor early on. A trusted mentor can offer invaluable insight, answer your questions, and help guide you through both challenges and opportunities. Don’t be afraid to ask for advice—learning from someone who’s been there can make all the difference.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

In both my work and personal life, I value balance, authenticity, and connection. Whether I’m out on the water with my husband, walking our two dogs, or baking something new in the kitchen, I find joy in simple moments that recharge me. I also value continuous learning—reading and listening to audiobooks are part of how I stay inspired and curious, both personally and professionally.
