Darcey Montoya is a Christian Spiritual Growth Mentor, Intuitive Coach, and Worship Singer devoted to guiding others into a Christ-centered journey of healing, awakening, and purpose.

Through her work, she helps purpose-driven men and women move beyond restlessness and disconnection to experience the lasting peace, clarity, and joy that come from a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through Darcey Montoya Life Coaching, she creates a sacred space where clients can release burdens, rediscover their God-given gifts, and align their lives with biblical truth in a way that is practical, authentic, and deeply transformative.

Darcey’s work flows from her own story of redemption. Having overcome eating disorders, depression, addiction, and seasons of brokenness, she knows the ache of searching for peace in all the wrong places. Her life was transformed not through striving, but through surrender—through encountering the healing love and grace of Jesus Christ. This lived experience infuses her coaching with empathy, authenticity, and wisdom. Rather than offering answers from a distance, she walks beside others, helping them hear God’s voice, embody His teachings, and step fully into the freedom He promises.

Before stepping fully into spiritual mentoring, Darcey spent over a decade in new home sales, corporate sales training, and management and leadership. During that time, she trained individuals one-on-one and facilitated group classes of up to forty participants. She also developed course content, participant guides, and transformational training experiences that helped others grow in confidence and connection. These experiences honed her ability to communicate with clarity, empathy, and grace—skills she now brings to her Christ-centered programs, creating courses and community experiences that inspire deep reflection, lasting growth, and renewed faith.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies with a minor in Finance from the University of Maryland Global Campus.

Darcey’s mission is clear: to help others awaken to their identity in Christ, cultivate peace and resilience through faith, and live out the abundant life God intends for them.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my unwavering commitment to encouraging others to experience the true freedom and joy that come only from a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. I lean on Him, follow His guidance, and trust that every step of my journey has been led by His hand.

My work and purpose are rooted in faith. I believe that when people learn to lean into His love and wisdom, they discover clarity, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose for their lives. Everything I do—both personally and professionally—is centered on helping others connect with Christ in a way that transforms their perspective, strengthens their spirit, and empowers them to live the abundant life He has promised.

Ultimately, any success I have comes from Him alone. My role is simply to listen, obey, and help others do the same.
Why? Because He blesses me when I walk in faith. My prayer is for all to experience His love and guidance—and to be blessed by Him in ways beyond imagination.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Purpose, even the hard days can’t shake your commitment. Do what excites, energizes, and inspires you. Have fun, help people, and success will follow.

Scripture reminds us that each of us is gifted with unique skills and talents to use for His glory:

“If your gift is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement...” — Romans 12:6–8

Your dreams and passions aren’t random—they were planted by God as part of His design for your life. When you use those gifts to serve others, you step into the very purpose He created you for. That’s where fulfillment—and true success—begin.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women stepping into this work is simple: walk with God, not ahead of Him. Don’t chase the path the world tells you to take—listen for the one He’s preparing for you. The most powerful thing you can do is stay authentic, keep your heart soft, and let your faith guide your ambition. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about being present—to God, to your purpose, and to the people you’re called to serve.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Faith can be hard to talk about. For many, it’s something deeply personal—sometimes even secret. But when we keep faith hidden, it slowly fades. Speaking openly about what’s in our hearts is how we live authentically and feel most alive.

We are all spiritual beings—there’s more to life than what we can see or touch. Hope in something greater, in life beyond this one, is what fuels our desire to do good, to love deeply, and to make a positive difference.

Without faith, we lose that anchor of hope, and it’s easy to drift. That’s why I feel called to help people rediscover the joy, peace, and freedom that come from a living faith—to experience life as the sacred adventure it’s meant to be.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My most important value is my faith in Jesus—it’s the foundation for everything I do. My family is a close second, the heart of my everyday joy and purpose.

I believe in living with gratitude for every moment and helping others discover a way of life that feels lighter, kinder, and filled with peace. Our world needs more love, more grace, more forgiveness—and far less selfishness.

My hope is to help that love grow and spread, creating a world where we care deeply for one another and live with genuine appreciation for the gift of life we’ve been given.
