Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to always strive to make yourself irreplaceable. Focusing on developing unique skills, consistently adding value, and bringing your full commitment to every opportunity ensures that you stand out and make a lasting impact.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

When mentoring young women entering my industry, I emphasize the importance of making yourself irreplaceable. Beyond that, I encourage them to focus on discovering their true talents and purpose, and aligning those with their work so they can be their best selves. It’s important to explore different opportunities, experience new roles, and learn what truly resonates, rather than simply moving stage by stage. Often, we have a template for how we think our careers should unfold, but by staying open and reflective, you can identify where your unique strengths and passions intersect, allowing you to thrive and find joy in what you do.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

In clinical research, one of the greatest opportunities—and responsibilities—is developing treatments that bring hope to patients with serious illnesses. Equally important is ensuring the integrity of trial data and safety information, which ultimately supports the approval of effective therapies.

In the realm of women’s entrepreneurship, the biggest opportunity lies in shifting from solitary building to strategic collaboration. By working together, women can scale their impact, amplify success, and create stronger networks that benefit everyone involved.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The three core values that guide both my professional work in clinical research and my involvement with the GLOW Syndicate are quality of life, hope, and the pursuit of success and wealth. These values shape the decisions I make, the initiatives I prioritize, and the way I strive to create meaningful impact for myself and others.
