Her Story
About Ella
I spend most of my time conducting outreach and doing research for a variety of needs that my clients come to us with. I work with people in basically every industry that you could think of, doing cold outreach and also maintaining relationships with experts that are already in our network. It's essentially mostly just outreach to people in a variety of different spaces to fulfill our clients' needs, along with the organizational aspects of making sure that people have the information they need and onboarding experts to our platform. I started as an associate in January of 2025 and was promoted to a senior associate by June, which was honestly a really big accomplishment in my mind because I had no exposure to finance or anything like that previously. I was able to really quickly pick up the skills that I needed and get an understanding of the space I was walking into, and really learn from the people around me. Since then, I've been able to develop my leadership skills to train other people that I'm working with and be that support system that I also had when I first started.

Ten minutes with Ella
01What do you attribute your success to?
I would say it is an inherent drive that I've had, that my family definitely has instilled in me forever. I've always had to work very hard to create a path that wasn't necessarily laid out for me, so I've always had to really think ahead of what my goals were and where I wanted to be, so I could really clearly outline what I needed to do to get there.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would definitely say that I know if you are watching the news or social media, or whatever it is, that it's very easy to compare your journey to others, but everyone has a unique path, and it's not going to be the same as your friend, or whatever you might be seeing online. So I would say that you should just decide what is important to you, and really clearly think about what you can do to accomplish that without comparing that to what other people are doing.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I would say that this has grown much more apparent to me recently, but it is very much a male-dominated industry. It has been difficult to navigate a field where I personally didn't have a background in, so finance, as you know, is a very male-dominated field. It's about proving that you are not only competent, but can be very successful and very good at what I do, in a field where that hasn't necessarily been the standard for so long.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I would definitely say that my main value is my faith. I think it guides pretty much everything that I do. I also think that having that determination and genuine kindness and consideration for other people is really important, because that is really at the core of what I do - working with other people. I think that trying to understand where people are coming from, and having that good communication, and just a sense of honest and genuine human decency, I think, is really key, and it's not as common as we would like to think it is, but I think it is really very important, especially in this field.
