Ten minutes with Chandini

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my journey to three grounding forces: strategic thinking, disciplined effort, and authenticity.

Strategic thinking has been shaped by curiosity. Asking deeper questions led me to understand not just what I know—but how much there is still to learn. Language became an early gateway: I studied five languages formally and pursued others out of interest, expanding my ability to think, connect, and see the world through multiple perspectives.

Disciplined effort has defined my execution. Over 14 years, I’ve contributed 15,000+ volunteer hours, mentored 70,000+ youth, and supported initiatives reaching millions globally—leading programs, coordinating large-scale efforts, and building environments focused on growth, structure, and impact.

Authenticity has been my constant anchor. Through dance, acting, and art, I’ve performed on global stages and created thousands of pieces—ultimately giving rise to my business—while staying rooted in who I am. I owe everything that has happened to me to my father.

At my core, I believe: commit fully, give your best, and results will follow.

Success, for me, is intentional—built through clarity of thought, consistency of action, and authenticity of self.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is this: innovation waits for no one, authenticity gives you wings, and consistent practice—paired with passion—drives real growth.

I didn’t learn this from a single moment—it revealed itself over time, through both experience and education.

I saw early on that the world keeps moving. There’s never a perfect time to begin. Whether it was stepping into new fields, pursuing structured learning across business, technology, and design, or building across industries, I realized that waiting only delays growth. So I learned to move forward—curious, prepared, and willing to figure things out along the way.

At the same time, I found that everything changed when I stayed true to who I am. From performing on stage to creating art, and eventually building my own business, the moments that felt most aligned were the ones where I didn’t try to fit in—I simply showed up as myself. That alignment strengthened not just my creativity, but my ability to connect, lead, and sustain momentum.

And over the years, I’ve come to understand the quiet power of consistency. It’s not the big moments that define you—it’s the repeated ones. Showing up through years of volunteering, mentoring thousands, and continuously learning—applying knowledge across real-world contexts—that’s what turns education into impact. Working for high achieving bosses have instilled this in me by exemplified living.

This advice didn’t just guide me—it became how I live.

I’ve always believed that if I commit fully, act with intention, and give my best, the results will follow.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Educate yourself. Seek mentorship. And most importantly—live what you learn.

Governance is not just about overseeing systems or people. It is about embodying the principles yourself first. You cannot govern effectively unless you understand, through experience, what it means to operate with discipline, ethics, and accountability.

Invest in your education—deeply and continuously.

Find mentors who have walked the path before you. Their lived experience is invaluable, and learning from them helps you avoid costly mistakes.

But don’t stop at learning. Apply it. Internalize it. Let it shape how you think, decide, and act.

Because the goal is not just to participate—it is to lead responsibly and do it right.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

We are living in a time where innovation has accelerated faster than governance.

Organizations have rapidly embedded AI and emerging technologies into their systems, often before fully understanding the long-term implications. The challenge now is clear: ensuring that innovation is used responsibly—without harming people, compromising systems, or creating unintended risks.

This is where governance becomes critical.

The opportunity ahead is not just to oversee, but to design stronger foundations—building systems, frameworks, and safeguards that protect people, organizations, and the integrity of the technology itself.

For those in governance, this is a defining moment. There is a real opportunity to step in, guide organizations, and help them align innovation with responsibility—ensuring that what is built today remains sustainable, ethical, and secure for the future.

We are not just managing systems—we are shaping how innovation is trusted.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

At my core, everything I do is grounded in morals, ethics, and loyalty. These are not just ideals—they are the foundation that shapes my decisions, relationships, and leadership.

From there, everything else grows.

Being true to who I am matters deeply to me. Authenticity is not a choice—it is a way of operating. It ensures that my actions are aligned with my values, and that I lead with integrity, consistency, and clarity.

In a world that is constantly evolving, these values keep me anchored. They guide how I think, how I lead, and how I show up—every single day.
