What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the journey I’ve taken since graduating college. I began my career in the hospitality industry, where I spent eight years developing the skills and expertise that have become foundational to my current role. Through that experience, I gained invaluable insights and tools that I have been able to apply and adapt, ultimately allowing me to find my niche and thrive in my career today.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that you can build a successful career, but the ability to pivot when needed is a vital key to that success.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is simple: you can build a career you love—stay persistent, keep moving forward, and never give up.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Although I’ve only been in my role for a month, I see both challenges and opportunities ahead. I’m eager to learn as much as I can and exceed the expectations set for me, using this time to grow and make a meaningful impact in my field.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me both personally and professionally revolve around dedication, involvement, and giving my best. As a parent, I love being actively engaged in my children’s lives—attending their sports activities, serving as a volunteer cheer coach for our youth football team for the past five years, and embracing their hobbies as my own. I also cherish quiet moments, like curling up with a good nonfiction book, to recharge.
Professionally, I bring that same commitment and energy to my work. At my previous employer, I managed $224 million in revenue, and I always strive to give more than 100% in everything I do. Balancing personal involvement and professional excellence is central to who I am and how I approach every aspect of my life.
