Jasmine W: Speaker: Jasmine W., Motivational Speaker, Private BusinessWhat does being an Influential Woman mean to you?Jasmine W.: Being an influential woman means to me, getting up every day, conquering your goals, whether they're small steps, or whether they're big steps. But be kind and gentle to yourself always. Always remember that you are the winner when you don't give up. Always remember that you are human and you have feelings, and it's OK not to be OK, but don't stay there. Recanting yourself, and reviving yourself, and rediscovering yourself, and becoming someone new, shedding your own whole life from a little girl or a boy. Becoming a teen, then breaking into your adulthood. It seems like it moves so fast and so rapidly, but what I do not want you to do is give up on yourself. Be disciplined with yourself, lock in with yourself, cut off all distractions, and know that when you are heading towards something, there is an end goal. If you don't have an end goal, set one. Make those small steps become bigger steps as you grow. Don't despise anything because it starts off small, because it did not take off right away does not mean it's not gonna take off. I started so many different businesses throughout my journey and learning and understanding and knowing that I was not a failure because I despise what took off small at first, but now that I've grown and been stretched in some areas of understanding of growth. Always remember to never give up on yourself. Put the time in, put the work in, and position yourself as if you already got it, wherever you're going. Whether it's a business, whether it's a degree, whether it's being a mother, whether it's becoming a mother. Whether it's dealing with something in your career, whether it's dealing with something in your finances, whether it's growth, whether it's Life overall, just remember to know that stepping forth. And how you wanna become and who you wanna become, will take time, it will take discipline, show up on time. Always be on time for what it is that you want, show the responsibility and take accountability and responsibility of what you're signing up for. And when you are positioned. There, and when you are being pruned in the position that you set yourself up for, always know that you are worthy, you are amazing, you are enough. Be kind to yourself, be gentle with yourself, and always do the right things. It's not easy, but if you do it right the first time, you wouldn't have to do it all over again. So it will take patience, it will take you being kind with yourself, it does take you having patience, and it does take time in order to process what's going on around you, and becoming who it is that you wanna be. Always remember that in this process, things are gonna fade away, you will become new, and when you get there, you're gonna be so happy because when you thought you couldn't do it, you did it, even when you didn't want to, even when you didn't have the strength to, even when you didn't feel like it still show up. So just remember, while you're taking the major steps to become an influential woman. Always remember. You are enough And everything that you do. Little Jasmine. What's one piece of advice you would give to younger women chasing their dreams?Jasmine W.: One piece of advice I would give to younger women chasing their dreams is to know that it's OK if you are starting off small and don't know where it will lead you. It's OK if you feel. Don't stay there, get back up, dust yourself off. Take what you learned from your failure and incorporate it with going forth in your new plan. Have a plan, set goals. You don't have to show up perfect, just show up present. You don't have to be perfect, just do it. Always remember the vision that you have. God didn't give no one else that vision, so some people might not understand your vision, and that's why it was solely given to you. That's why that idea solely was only given to you in your mind and your head. Now you might feel like, well, I don't know where to start, and I don't know how to start this, just show up from the little stuff that you do got, and as you go, you will grow, and God will send you people, so chasing your dreams, it's not for the week, but millionaires did not become millionaires overnight. They believed in themselves. So if that typically means losing sleep, going without having fun. Costing yourself, structuring yourself, being disciplined with yourself, and as I always say, show up as if you already have gotten it done. Show up as if it's already there, show up as if your business is already there, show up as if you already have the degree, show up as if everything that you are doing right now is already yours. Shift your mindset. Always go within, so you can never go without, and when I say going within, meaning what would your internal self do? And it does cause some uncomfortability, and you have to be uncomfortable for the moment, but look at the major picture and not just the frame. So, while you're chasing your dreams. You're gonna lose people, you're gonna lose places, and you will lose things. Will it hurt? Yes, but stay focused on your dream. When and if it's time, you can reach back for those you feel can be with you until you get to where you want to go, no one. She'll walk with you because not everybody, as I stated before, have the same kind of vision that you have, and people, places and things tend to be distractions to where you're headed and where you're going. So be kind with yourself, but also be disciplined, also stay consistent, also don't give up, and also cut off all distractions.
