About Jennifer

I help organizations that are receiving a telecom bill - whether it's voice like phone calls or data like scheduling meetings. Almost all organizations use telecom to support their core operations. Just like you get a personal bill with lines of service, taxes, surcharges, and tariffs, you don't know if they're right, and even if you thought they were wrong, you wouldn't know what to do. We do a forensic audit of their telecom bill, find out what's wrong, contact the carrier, work with the carrier to reclaim money based upon statute of limitations, and then we ensure the money or the bill is correct moving forward. It often saves the company up to sometimes greater than 30%, but for the most part, if you average out, about 30% of the bill is incorrect. Every bill. We're so confident that we're going to find something, we don't charge a fee to look. It's success-based, meaning we find the money, we get the money on your bill, we don't change vendors unless they want to. Once the credit is on the bill, then from there, we invoice them for the amount that we agreed upon, typically 50-50. What I love most is supporting organizations, especially healthcare organizations where I cut my teeth, knowing that things are hard today and they're only going to get harder with reimbursement rates and thin margins. Helping them find money to fund their mission - organizations that are trying to help everyone, whether those who can pay and those who cannot.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Find a mentor - it doesn't have to be at your company, but find a mentor. Get a good mental health provider, because we all need to talk to someone. And then when opportunities come your way, say yes. Even if it feels like the smallest thing, and you're thinking, why are they asking me to do this? Because it may be the door that leads you to where you're supposed to be, finding your purpose. I say yes often, because I don't know what's needed, who needs my support, who needs my skill sets, who needs my help. You get out of something what you put into it. I don't know what the future holds - none of us do. And saying yes to be a part of a community where we want to support one another is important to me.
