Her Story

About Jennifer

I've been in marketing for about 15 years, and my journey started in sales where I spent 2-3 years before transitioning into marketing. That sales experience really helped me understand and appreciate how important marketing is to the overall sales process and business in general. Today, I'm focused on building strategic marketing programs that connect business objectives to measurable outcomes, while balancing leadership, innovation, and real-world execution. A big part of my career has been learning how to navigate high-pressure environments, advocate for growth, and create impact without losing authenticity. As a working mom, I've learned that influence comes less from title and more from consistency, resilience, and the ability to bring people together around a clear vision. I'm probably most proud of my ability to bring clarity to complex business solutions and help communicate that value to the customers that the vendors I work with want to target. I work with a lot of cybersecurity companies, and what I find most rewarding is being able to help push those outcomes and really help customers get what they need. For example, in healthcare, it's really important to protect patients' privacy, and the companies I work for provide the products and solutions to help these healthcare companies protect patients' privacy. Being able to tie in the why is really motivating and satisfying for me - it brings a lot of purpose to my work.

Ten minutes with Jennifer

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say the key factor to my success is really taking the time to listen to people. I really try to understand what they need, what they want, what the expectations are, and then from there, I suggest different programs and different strategic marketing strategies to help them achieve their goals for their organization. It's about truly understanding before proposing solutions.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say don't underestimate the value of adaptability. People who continue growing are usually the ones willing to evolve, learn new skills, and stay solution-oriented, even when circumstances change. And then also build relationships intentionally. Opportunities come through trust, reputation, and consistency, long before they come through titles.
