Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jodi

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to an innate, lifelong drive to excel and complete every task with total excellence. This work ethic was a core part of my upbringing: the belief that if you are going to take something on, you do it exceptionally well and you see the job all the way through to the finish line. I refuse to do things halfway or settle for partial efforts. This intrinsic standard for thoroughness and quality is what keeps me focused and consistently delivers meaningful results in my career. I love leading change and transformation intiatives. I found far more fulfillment in rolling up my sleeves, fixing broken systems, empowering teams, and watching people gain confidence than I ever did climbing another rung of the corporate ladder.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The only constant in life is change. As you reflect on your own life you will realize it is in constant change. And as we get older, it seems the change only is accelerating.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women to be open to change and new things rather than playing it safe. Productivity is important but not everything; focus on your personal brand and what you want to be known for. Building a network both inside and outside your organization is crucial, even if it feels awkward as someone who is more technical than social. Having a network provides mentorship and support that helps you grow beyond just doing good work.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The massive, simultaneous challenge and opportunity facing businesses today is the human side of adopting rapidly changing AI technology. Many employees view AI with fear, assuming it is designed to replace their jobs. The real opportunity lies in shifting this perspective entirely through targeted coaching and change leadership. Studies show that organizations actually grow faster when leveraging these tools. The goal is to help teams understand that AI is not a replacement, but an augmentation of their skills. By seamlessly integrating it into day-to-day workflows so it feels like a natural helper rather than a forced, administrative add-on, we can transform fear into a powerful driver of productivity and innovation.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My foundational core value is trust, which serves as the cornerstone of both my professional and personal relationships. I believe that trust creates the foundation for effective collaboration, meaningful connections, and successful outcomes, especially during times of significant organizational change. Helping people understand the “why” behind a transition and ensuring they feel supported throughout the process is essential to building confidence and alignment. By fostering an environment of mutual trust—where clients and colleagues rely on my guidance and I value their expertise and contributions—I am able to navigate complex challenges, strengthen relationships, and create lasting impact.
