Her Story
About Juliana
I founded the voice biohacking methodology 22 years ago, and I've been working in this field ever since. My personal story drives my work - I could not sing, I was shaking on the stage, and I had this split between my mental and emotional parts that many people experience. We're often ashamed to show our emotions. It was a long journey for me to figure out how to sing myself, which is why I took so many certifications and educations. Now I've released my songs on Spotify and collaborated with famous people like directors at Google and venture capitalists. I work with executives, companies, and their teams, as well as the B2C market. I navigate my team, create content, write books, and conduct sessions with business teams and executives. What makes my work unique is that I'm not just working with the voice cosmetically - I'm working with the nervous system to create real transformation. The throat sits exactly between your head (mental part) and emotional part, and I help people bridge that split. Since I got through this completely myself and can now perform deep emotions in front of huge amounts of people without being shaky anymore, I help others overcome their fear of public speaking, public singing, being on stage, and speaking on camera. I'm helping people find their authentic voice and be themselves in front of big audiences.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my personal story. I could not sing, I was shaking on the stage, and I had this issue where my throat was stuck - sitting exactly between my head (mental part) and emotional part. I figured out that lots of people have this split between mental and emotional parts. We are ashamed to show our emotions sometimes. I had this issue myself, and I could not sing. It was a long journey, that's why I took so many certifications and educations to figure out how to sing myself. I released my songs on Spotify and collaborated with famous people like directors in Google and venture capitalists, starting from scratch. I think my own thirst to express myself and use my voice drove me. I know how it feels when singing or speaking on a big stage makes you shaky and nervous, and sometimes we're afraid to be judged. That was my personal story. Now, since I got through this completely and I'm singing and performing deep emotions in front of huge amounts of people without being shaky anymore, I'm helping others to overcome this fear of public speaking, public singing, being on the stage, and receiving that amount of attention. I work with the nervous system, not with the voice basically, to help people have their voice.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received was that everything is allowed until you ask. I think we often restrict ourselves by thinking 'this is not allowed' or questioning 'can I speak up, or can I just move in and take every next step and see what happens?' We restrict ourselves more than we actually need to. There's way much more freedom if we don't put our own obstacles between ourselves and our bigger selves. That's what I think and how I guide others.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Being your true self, your authentic self, is more attractive than you thought. At the same time, it's more scary, and you need to find some support and a mentor to reflect on it. But the true power is in your authenticity. Being similar to others never helps you to be known and to bring your gifts into the outside world into reality.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The opportunities are to bring into the business world and entrepreneurs' world a right to speak up and to be authentic. With lots of AI coming, authenticity is probably going to be value number one soon. I think that's the opportunity for lots of humans, and people want it. At the same time, it's the biggest challenge. The biggest challenge for me is also to create scientific research, because this niche seems to be a soft niche. But what I got through is that there's lots of scientific studies and research here - in the brain, alpha waves, how we get from beta waves to alpha waves and work in alpha waves. All this emotional and spiritual field is now pretty much scientific. So it's a big challenge to explain this deep thing where we're ashamed, where we're scared, but we can lean on scientific research, studies, and bodywork. Nowadays, everything which was mystical, and we thought that singing voice is a talent or a gift - it's not a gift, it's brain waves. Now it's possible for everyone to get there.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Authenticity is most important to me. Connection with our self - that's what people gain through my work. Connection with others is also crucial. Maybe true self, because people sometimes fake their personality when they're on stage to be less judged, less ashamed. I'm helping people to be themselves in front of a big audience. I think I would mark authenticity and true self as my core values.
