Her Story
About Kelly
Kelly LeBlanc is a Senior Business Analyst with 19 years of experience in business analytics, sales operations, ERP systems, and commercial strategy within the beverage alcohol distribution industry. Based in the Greater New Orleans region, she has built a long-standing career at Republic National Distributing Company, where she specializes in transforming complex data into actionable insights, improving reporting systems, and supporting strategic business decisions. Her work focuses on sales analytics, KPI development, process optimization, and strengthening supplier and internal commercial operations.
Her journey in the industry began with a leap of faith. After working in payroll and accounting at a company that was relocating, she chose not to move due to compensation constraints. She submitted her resume to a temp agency and accepted an administrative assistant role despite having no prior experience in that position. That decision marked the beginning of a nearly 19-year career with the same organization, during which she has been promoted seven times and steadily advanced through multiple roles. Along the way, she developed a deep appreciation for the industry and the people in it, recognizing that growth comes from initiative, continuous learning, and advocating for new opportunities.
Today, Kelly works on the supplier commercialization team, where she manages supplier onboarding and offboarding, ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, streamlines operational processes, builds dashboards, and leads special projects. Her experience has shaped her belief that leadership is not defined by title or people management, but by collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and helping others grow. She is known for her analytical mindset, operational expertise, and ability to bridge strategy and execution while contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the organization.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Kelly
01What do you attribute your success to?
Number one, my nieces. I want them to be able to see that, especially as a woman, if you work hard enough and you're doing something that you really do love and you know that you're good at, you can go as far as you want to go. I don't want them to let the world stop them. But I'm also doing it for myself. I understand that my only competition is me yesterday - it's not anybody out there. The more I learn and the higher up I get, either at this company or the next, the more I'm proud of myself for doing it. But then also, that's more pavement I can help build for the young women coming behind me. I'm really big on building up women, and if you want to come, I'm going to take you with me. So let's be ready.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Honestly, and I tell my nieces this - take those leaps of faith. Don't be scared to step out of your comfort zone, because when you step out of your comfort zone, that's when you really learn. And don't be scared to do that. I also feel that when you stop stepping out of your comfort zone and you stop learning new things and stop doing things because you're scared, that's when you tend to kind of fall back a little bit. So I would just say, don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. You never know where it's going to lead. Learn to follow your gut instincts. And if you do that, then you're not going to fail. Or if you fail, you learn.
