Kemi Olukayode, DBA, MBA, PMP, SME: So, being an influential woman is to be able to influence other women in areas such as daily living, career, business-wise, and academics, being able to Share your knowledge with them, being able to help in any way that you could in some in these areas, such as academies, business, if anyone wants to start a business or in their business, some of them need courage or encouragement to be able to start or move on with their academics, to be able to impact other women as well, like you. To be able to do what they have to do in areas that you have been able to overcome. So whatever tips you can share with them or teaching or mentorship you can offer, this is how you can be an influential woman. Also, telling your story and telling your stories about, your courage and lack of it, to let people know where the time you were courageous, what you, you had courage to do. And, in times that you did not have courage as well. So people can be encouraged as well to be able to, so they can have courage in any situation they are going through. Their own situations as well. Also, being an influential woman is to be able to, it's very important to impact younger generation. To have them in our hearts and to be able to Intentionally influence them, they need it. They need as much attention they can get, we live in the, technology era where younger generation just turn to devices, technology to, to breed them, to mentor them, to tell them what the answers to whatever questions they have are, and these are not sufficient for technology; Technology cannot do it all. There's a place for human being to human being, humanity. So younger generation, they need as much attention from older ones, parents, guidance, older ones around, they need support. So being an influential woman as, as a woman as well, is very, to me, it's very important to Impact the young, younger generation. Talk to them as much as you could, advise them and share them. Let them share with you their stories. Give them the freedom to be able to come to you and share their experience with you, to be able to open up to you in any difficulty they might be going through. So, this is what being an influential woman is to me. Thank you.What's one piece of advice you would give to younger women chasing their dreams?Kemi Olukayode : So one piece of advice I can give to younger women chasing their dreams is that They should determine what they want to do. For their business, for their careers, or whatever they want to do. They want to go study, they should determine quite all right, what they want to pursue and go for it. Do they want to pursue some certification, whatever they determined to do from their heart. That's what, that's the first step. They don't have to see the whole picture, the big picture or the full outcome. They should just start from wherever they are and take it from there. They don't have the resources to get everything right away. They should start bit by bit, However they can start, whatever step they can take, they should take steps little by little, they get to where they open and they wish to achieve whatever they want to achieve. Let them start little by little, whatever step it might be the, the minute information. They need, they should research, research into what they want to do and go for it. Sometimes you don't see the full picture. Sometimes you don't know the way, how to do it. Sometimes you don't have the resources. So it goes, so you can still do something, research, research about what you want to do, research about people who have done the same things, and Go, go for it. Go for it. That's what I can say. Don't, don't, don't wait. Don't step back and, and say, OK, until I'm able to achieve everything, until I'm able to acquire all that I need to acquire, acquire to proceed. Don't have to do that. You don't have to wait for everything to be fully acquired before you, you start. Just pick it up from any piece of information you gather. Take it up from there. Take it one after the other, and, Surely, but slowly, you'll get there. So that's one piece of advice I can give to women who are chasing their dreams.

Dr. Kemi Olukayode is a project management professional specializing in project development, infrastructure initiatives, and organizational execution. I attribute my success to the drive within me and the commitment to follow my passion. I believe that staying focused, overcoming obstacles, and doing the right thing for myself and others has guided me toward where I am today.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to follow my passion and pursue what I truly enjoy doing. When you align your career with what inspires you, you find greater fulfillment and purpose.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to follow their passion, stay true to themselves, and believe in their abilities. Don’t let setbacks or others’ opinions discourage you from pursuing your goals and ambitions.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge in my field right now is securing financing, especially for large-scale infrastructure projects. Access to the right financial resources is essential to moving projects forward and creating opportunities for growth.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are honesty, dedication, and commitment to excellence. I believe in giving my best effort, paying attention to every detail, and leaving no stone unturned in everything I do.

The adage that says, “practice makes perfect,” conveys the underlying meaning of the learning curve. Learning curve theory expresses the relationship between production time and the cumulative number of units produced. The reason for utilizing the Learning Curve Concept in your project is to help evaluate its specific effects on the project. The occurrence and effects of learning curves can be measured in my project’s working environment in both content and graphical form. The following concepts are usually applied when evaluating learning curve effects in a project: the cumulative average curve, follow-up on orders, and manufacturing breaks.
Concurrently, the strategic, repetitive process of project implementation allows a person or an institution to acquire greater efficiency and improve production time and the outcome of products. Learning curve theory describes how learning takes place at a fixed rate whenever production levels double. Generally, learning curve theory is most suitable for estimating costs and manufacturing. (Chase et al., 2017; Kerzner, 2013). The first time the learning curve was implemented in industry was in a 1936 report by T. P. Wright of Curtis-Wright Corporation. In the report, Wright explained how direct labor costs in the manufacturing of a specific airplane could be reduced through the experience gained from learning. Since then, other airplane manufacturers have adopted the theory (Corey, 2006).
The learning curve concept is largely related to labor-intensive projects, such as manufacturing, for determining the intensity of labor that would be required, which is normally a difficult and time-consuming task. Learning curve implementation reveals that manufacturing manpower time spent—that is, direct labor—will reduce every time the organization increases its output twofold, that is, by two hundred percent (200%). For instance, on a ninety percent (90%) learning curve, if the 100th unit required eighty (80) hours, then the 200th unit will require ninety (90) hours (Kerzner, 2013). The learning curve is sometimes referred to as the experience curve on the basis that individuals and institutions improve their skills and abilities in their tasks as the tasks are repeated over time (Corey, 2006).

The next step in a project risk management plan after risk planning is to identify the potential risks and opportunities in the project. Risk can be defined as an uncertain event that has a positive or negative (upside or downside) effect on any one of the project parameters (Young, 2009). Some events take place during the lifetime of a project, and when such events occur, they can have a positive (opportunity) or negative (threat) effect on project measures such as project time, quality, and cost. Risk management allows board directors to have sufficient information that is vital to implementing their responsibilities, which will boost the organizational capabilities that create and promote organizational values (Bugalla et al., 2010).
The various factors and tasks to consider in risk identification are: reviewing the procurement plan, interviewing subject matter experts, brainstorming, analyzing assumptions and constraints, and using visual risk identification, such as diagrams. Identifying risks is a very vital step in a risk management plan; when risks are not identified, there will be no way to devise responses to such risks (Seyedhoseini & Hate, 2009).
The items that are needed in order to identify risks are: WBS (Work Breakdown Schedule), Procurement Plan, especially the Assumption Lists and Constraints Lists, Contract Product Description or information about the final goods or services of the procurement, Cost Estimates, especially if the project is a procurement-related project, Project-related Procurement Plan, if the project is a procurement-related project, and Resource Plan (Lindstrom, 2014). The formal processes involved in risk management are: planning, identification, qualitative risk analysis, quantitative risk analysis, risk response planning, and risk monitoring and control (Rose, 2013).
Among the many benefits of risk management are the successes it brings to the organization or project owners. Successful risk management requires risks and costs to be combined and balanced. When all the questions in the risk and cost columns are answered positively, the targeted benefits of risk management are achieved. This allows risk management to obtain a value proposition for the organization (Wallis, 2012).
Reviewing the Risks
The risk and opportunity management process is an ongoing process. From time to time, new risks and opportunities will emerge over the course of the year. In the same vein, some risks and opportunities will be removed from the register during the year. The likelihood and impact of risks and opportunities should be assessed frequently to monitor management actions related to risks and opportunities, usually on a quarterly basis. Sometimes, new management actions may be identified to further reduce risks and enhance opportunities.
Team members and staff members who are responsible for the action associated with a risk or opportunity should review and update the risk registers on a regular basis. In a situation where a risk is scoring high, the issue should be discussed with the managers who are in charge of those risks or opportunities.
