Resilience is built, not born. Every setback is a growth opportunity. Setbacks don't define you, they shape you, and real growth happens when you keep moving forward.

Her Story

About Kristie

Kristie Morgan is the Founder and CEO of RevEngine-IQ, a premium Revenue Execution Partner. Based in Lillington, North Carolina, she has spent more than three decades in sales, starting in her teenage years with consumer sales and appointment scheduling before moving into the technology and lead generation space.

Around 2010, she supported sales directors at an Oracle consulting firm, an experience that helped shape her transition into full-time business development and outbound strategy work. Over the course of her career, Morgan founded Virtual Expert Solutions, a venture she later rebranded and relaunched as RevEngine-IQ following a five-year hiatus from the industry.

Today, she leads go-to-market and sales operations for RevEngine-IQ's clients, directing the sales team for technology partner client relationships. Her approach blends targeted lead generation, appointment setting, CRM systems like HubSpot and Zoho, and multi-channel outreach to help B2B organizations build cleaner, more predictable pipelines.

Morgan describes her guiding philosophy as one centered on trust and credibility, values she considers essential to sustaining long-term business relationships and a strong professional brand. Outside of her professional life, Morgan enjoys gardening, planting flowers, and spending time at the beach and in the mountains, balancing her demanding career with simple, restorative pursuits.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kristie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to having the courage to restart my business after stepping away from it for a period of time. When I rebranded from Virtual Expert Solutions to RevEngine-IQ, I found renewed energy and purpose, and that decision quickly paid off when partners like Insyghtful.ai came on board. Since then, my continued growth has come from being willing to adapt my messaging and approach, particularly around positioning our tools as live deal control solutions, in order to connect with the right clients despite the challenges of spam filters and cold outreach restrictions.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received was: 'Don't focus on being busy, focus on being valuable.' Early in my career, I measured success by activity. Over time, I learned that impact comes from solving meaningful problems, creating results for customers, and helping others succeed. That mindset has shaped how I build businesses and lead teams today

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Focus on building expertise, creating value, and delivering results. Don't feel like you need to have every qualification or every answer before pursuing an opportunity. Be willing to step outside your comfort zone, continue learning, and trust in your abilities. The most rewarding careers are built on curiosity, resilience, and a commitment to helping others succeed.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I face is identifying and securing the right clients, not just any clients, while managing the financial pressures that come with building out new partnerships. Anti-spam measures and heightened privacy protections have also made traditional cold outreach more difficult, and there is still hesitation among some customers when it comes to adopting AI tools. That said, I see real opportunity in reframing AI products as live sales coaching or "deal control" solutions, refining messaging to better resonate with buyers, and leaning into multi-channel outreach strategies to drive stronger engagement.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Trust and credibility are the values I hold most important, both professionally and personally. I believe that building a trustworthy, credible brand is the foundation for any lasting business relationship, and I carry that philosophy into every partnership and client interaction I take on.
