Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to years of preparation and study, along with certifications and training, combined with my lived experience as a heart attack survivor. I also take a service-oriented approach, which naturally helps build trust and generates strong word-of-mouth referrals.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women to embrace change—careers and identities can, and often should, evolve over time. You don’t have to stay in one role for life; pivoting is not only possible but valuable. Use the experience and wisdom you’ve already built to create meaningful work in each new phase of your life.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge right now is the lack of awareness and persistent stigma around women’s heart disease—many women normalize or dismiss their symptoms. The opportunity lies in expanding public education on women’s heart health and integrating neuroscience and holistic wellness approaches into recovery and coaching.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are approaching my work with a servant’s heart, honoring faith, energy, and interconnectedness, and fostering honesty, hope, and empowerment for women.
