Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a blend of wit, passion, and strong organization. These qualities have helped me stay focused, think creatively, and consistently deliver work I’m proud of. I’m especially grateful that my dedication to research has led to published work and meaningful contributions in my field.

I also believe no success is achieved alone — mentors, collaborators, and supportive colleagues have all played an important part in shaping my journey, as have my family, friends, and my husband, whose support keeps me grounded and motivated.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I’ve received came from my mother, who once told me, “Even a turtle will reach the finish line, as long as it keeps moving.” It taught me that persistence and patience matter more than speed — that steady progress, no matter how slow, can still lead to great achievements.

Another piece of advice that continues to shape my career came from my husband: build something of your own. He encouraged me to create a space where my ideas and values could guide the work. That guidance is shaping my path now as I move deeper into consulting and develop my own division

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My father always said, “A tree that bears fruit will always have people who throw stones at it.” His words reminded me that success often attracts criticism, but it’s also proof that you’re growing and making a difference. I’d tell young women to keep going, stay kind, and let their work speak louder than any noise around them.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is using AI without losing the curiosity and reasoning that make us human. It’s an incredible tool that helps us see patterns and speed up discoveries, but too much dependence on it can weaken our ability to think critically and question results.

The real opportunity is to let AI make us more curious, not less. It should help us ask better questions and make wiser decisions, without ever replacing our own judgment.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are balance, purpose, and authenticity. As a new mom, I’ve learned to prioritize what truly matters while staying grounded and present. I love Pilates for the clarity and strength it brings, and I’m excited to be channeling that same focus and energy into building my own company—something I look forward to sharing more about soon.
