What do you attribute your success to?
Positive mindset, seeing opportunity in chaos, knowing my passion and purpose with conviction, perseverance, trust, and resilience.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
My mentor taught me the concept of "Ready, fire, aim". It taught me to let go of things at 80%, and not try to hold on to them too long to make them perfect - this is a trap.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the health and wellness industry is to follow your passion and trust your calling, rather than letting negativity or practical concerns steer you off course. I believe it’s crucial to set clear goals, outline specific action steps, and establish deadlines to keep yourself accountable. At the same time, it’s important to remember that success doesn’t happen overnight—patience and persistence are key components of achieving your dreams in this field.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
There is an over-saturation of information and experts in the field right now. With menopause specifically there are a lot of celebrities advocating for women's rights to hormone therapy, as well as influencers claiming to have the "quick-fix" exercises to help women achieve their 20-year-old body again. It can seem daunting, but it's important to be true to yourself and your mission and be persistent. Find a unique angle, and don't give up. Be persistent, over time your message will get out there and people will see that you are the real deal and follow you.
On the flip side, there is opportunity to empower women, to challenge old mindsets, and encourage women to become their best selves.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
One of the values I hold most important in both my work and personal life is understanding and using my own nervous system as a tool for resilience and calm, especially in a challenging world. I draw motivation from within, trusting my own drive and instincts rather than relying on external validation or specific role models.
