What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my genuine love for people and my passion for negotiation. I truly enjoy getting a deal done while keeping everyone as happy as possible throughout the process. I work hard, return phone calls promptly, and stay in consistent communication with my clients so I can understand and address their concerns. I also maintain disciplined prospecting habits, including making at least 18 meaningful real estate contacts per week. My background in advertising has strengthened my marketing and prospecting skills, and I make it a priority to stay connected with past clients, as referrals are one of the strongest foundations of long-term success.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Throughout my career, I have been guided by mentors, industry professionals, and training programs that helped me strengthen my sales and negotiation skills. I’ve learned the value of continuous learning and professional development, and I firmly believe that staying committed to growth is essential for sustaining a successful career in real estate.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I strongly encourage young women entering real estate to seek quality training, because strong foundational training makes a noticeable difference in long-term performance. Just as importantly, answer your phone. Direct communication builds trust and clarity in ways that texting simply cannot. When you speak with someone, you can hear tone and emotion, and when you meet in person, you can read reactions. In today’s environment, people are craving genuine human interaction, and the agents who prioritize real conversations consistently perform better.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The economy is always one of the biggest challenges in real estate. When the economy is strong, the market thrives; when it slows, transactions slow as well. A major current challenge is interest rates. Many homeowners are locked into rates between 2–3%, while current rates are closer to 6%, which makes moving financially difficult for them. However, I believe the market in Mobile and Baldwin Counties will continue to improve, and I anticipate increased activity as conditions stabilize.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value hard work, consistent communication, and integrity. Staying in touch with clients, returning calls, and making sure people feel heard and supported are priorities for me. I believe strong relationships and trust are the foundation of every successful transaction. At the core of everything I do is a deep appreciation for people — because without people, there is no business.
