What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my growth and success to the influence of strong, accomplished women—beginning with my mother and reinforced by the mentors who have guided and challenged me throughout my career. Their leadership and perspective have been instrumental in shaping both my professional direction and leadership style.
I have consistently prioritized continuous learning and adaptability, building a foundation that enables me to navigate change with confidence and intention. This mindset has allowed me to evolve alongside the organizations and industries I serve, while remaining prepared to seize new opportunities as they emerge.
I am energized by the dynamic nature of financial services, where innovation and transformation are constant. The rapid shifts brought on by COVID-19 further underscored the importance of agility, resilience, and forward-thinking leadership. While my career path has evolved in unexpected ways, it has remained both purposeful and motivating—driving my commitment to growth, impact, and meaningful contribution.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The most impactful career advice I’ve received comes down to two principles.
First, always pay yourself first. Your work should build long-term value for you—whether through savings, investments, or financial security—not solely benefit others. That mindset has been foundational to how I approach both my career and financial decision-making.
Second, I’ve learned that not all advice is meant to be followed—some of it is meant to be challenged. Early in my career, a senior leader advised me against pursuing further education while working, suggesting it would limit rather than enhance my growth. While unexpected, that perspective ultimately became a catalyst. It pushed me to commit more deeply to my goals, and I went on to earn three advanced degrees in less than a decade.
That experience reinforced a lesson I carry with me today: sometimes the most valuable guidance comes in the form of resistance. Roadblocks can clarify direction, strengthen conviction, and fuel the discipline required to achieve meaningful outcomes.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I’ve learned that building strong, authentic relationships is one of the most valuable investments you can make in your career. I always encourage young women to network widely, stay open to unexpected opportunities, and be prepared to pivot as their careers evolve. Just as important is how you show up along the way—maintaining professionalism and never burning bridges. It may sound cliché, but it’s very real. The relationships you build today often become the opportunities you step into tomorrow.
I also believe that success is rarely a straight path. My own journey has reinforced that resilience and adaptability are not optional—they’re essential. When faced with adversity, I’ve learned to find creative ways to detour or reroute rather than disengage. The journey is yours to define, and in my experience, the most meaningful growth comes from navigating obstacles, not avoiding them.
Continuous learning has been a constant anchor for me. Whether formal or experiential, it’s what allows you to evolve, stay relevant, and expand your perspective in an ever-changing environment. No path to success is seamlessly paved, but those who remain agile, intentional, and grounded in strong relationships are the ones who ultimately thrive.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The payments ecosystem is evolving at an accelerated pace, with COVID-19 acting as a catalyst for the widespread adoption of virtual payments, mobile wallets, and now AI-driven solutions. This rapid transformation presents both challenges—requiring continuous modernization of systems and processes—and significant opportunities to innovate.
In this dynamic environment, organizations that embrace change are well-positioned to develop more strategic, client-centric solutions. By leveraging emerging technologies and rethinking traditional approaches, there is a clear path to enhancing efficiency, improving the client experience, and delivering greater overall value.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value exploration, adaptability, and continuous growth as core drivers of both personal and professional excellence. Travel has been a meaningful catalyst for expanding my perspective—exposing me to diverse cultures, ideas, and ways of thinking that sharpen my ability to lead with insight and intention. These experiences keep me energized, forward-thinking, and responsive to change.
Professionally, I prioritize authenticity, inclusivity, and high-performance cultures that invest in people and outcomes. I am most effective in environments where I can operate with clarity and purpose—bringing my full perspective to the table while being challenged to grow, innovate, and deliver at a high level.
I thrive in dynamic, evolving environments that demand agility, encourage curiosity, and reward disciplined execution. For me, growth is not passive—it is intentional, continuous, and essential to driving meaningful impact.
