01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to several mentors and influences who have inspired and guided me along the way. Les Brown has been a major source of inspiration for me; while I have not personally been on his team, I have taken part in his teachings and consistently learned from his videos, which have motivated me tremendously. I am very open and committed to learning, because I believe education is a key pathway to growth and building wealth.

My greatest natural inspiration is my mother, who raised twins as a single parent. Watching her overcome struggle and persevere through challenges taught me resilience, strength, and determination. I also draw deep inspiration from my former pastor, who has since passed away. She played a significant role in my calling to ministry and showed me what it looks like to successfully balance both ministry and business, as she was also a professor at Cheney University.

All of these influences—along with various motivational speakers, coaches, and mentors I have had the opportunity to learn from—have collectively shaped who I am today and contributed to my personal and professional success.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have received is to truly know my industry inside and out—understanding how everything works from the ground up. This knowledge allows me to grow with confidence, make informed decisions, and ultimately stand out above the rest.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

First, I would offer a free discovery call because I need to see if we're a great fit. There are so many coaches and programs out here, and maybe I'm the right fit for them, or maybe I'm not - we don't know until we have the conversation. I let the customers decide their next step. After discovering a little bit more about their goals, their needs, and their wants, I would see what programs I currently have that could help them get on their wellness journey or their professional journey. If I'm not the person for them, I would definitely recommend or suggest someone based on what we talked about that can help them. Or if I didn't have that particular course, I would create one that can help them. The key is understanding where you want to start. You need to know what your goals are, what your target is, who are the type of people you want to reach. Is it going to be just men, women and children? These are things that help people identify what type of coach you'll be, what type of audience you'll have, and what tools you're going to need to get started. Do you have any money to invest into yourself? Because everything costs something. If you're talking about apps and things that can help with automation, I need to suggest something that's going to help you get your program out. It's just a matter of where you want to start, what your journey would look like, and then I would give my honest opinion of if I can help you or not.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is helping people manage stress, burnout, and chronic health issues while trying to find balance and purpose in their lives. At the same time, there’s a huge opportunity as more people recognize the importance of holistic wellness—addressing mind, body, and spirit. Technology also allows us to reach and support individuals globally through virtual coaching and online wellness programs, making personal growth and transformation more accessible than ever.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The most important value in both my work and personal life is helping people. I’m deeply passionate about using the gifts and resources I’ve been blessed with to make a real difference in the lives of others—no matter who they are. Whether it’s helping someone improve their health, regain mobility, find their voice, grow professionally, or strengthen their spiritual life, my focus is always on empowerment, growth, and transformation.

I believe in a holistic approach—mind, body, and spirit all work together—and I strive to help people see the potential within themselves. Integrity, compassion, and service guide everything I do, and I’m committed to inspiring mindset shifts, building confidence, and supporting people on their journeys to wellness, purpose, and success.

At the core, my work and life are driven by a single mission: to embrace, uplift, and empower others so they can step boldly into their purpose.
