Sometimes, in our lives, the best answer is no. It gives us the opportunity to reflect, make changes, and decide if getting to yes is what is best. That can be a very tough lesson, but the learnings that come from it can be endless.
I learned that you don't necessarily need time or resources to set an idea in motion. It's about decision and opportunity that's what allows you to materialize what you have in mind.
I started a business just before the pandemic to help underserved businesses reach customers through in-person pop-up events, but the participation the model depended on didn't materialize. It taught me that seeing a need and believing in a mission aren't enough. The business has to work for the people it's meant to serve.
