Find Your Pink Wellness Center: Creating Pathways for Women to Thrive in Tempe–Chandler
Empowering women through workforce development and economic independence in the Tempe–Chandler region.
Find Your Pink Wellness Center is a newly established nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women. It is actively seeking a fiscal sponsor to support its efforts to secure funding for a permanent facility. The organization’s vision is to create a welcoming community hub that provides programs, resources, and supportive services designed to help women achieve emotional well-being, career advancement, and financial stability.
Across the Tempe–Chandler region, many women face significant economic barriers that make achieving stability and independence more difficult. In Tempe, approximately 16.2% of residents live below the poverty line, a rate higher than the national average. Women are often disproportionately affected by these economic challenges due to persistent wage disparities, limited access to career advancement opportunities, and employment barriers. Income inequality remains a significant local issue. Data indicate that women in Tempe earn approximately 83 cents for every dollar men earn. This reflects a gender pay gap that continues to impact women’s financial security, retirement savings, and long-term economic mobility.
Find Your Pink was created to directly address these disparities by providing workforce-focused services that remove employment barriers and support economic independence. The Center plans to offer practical resources and programs designed to help women rebuild confidence, strengthen professional skills, and access opportunities for personal and financial growth. Services will include a high-quality donation closet stocked with professional attire and hygiene essentials, as well as a resource library with computers and internet access to support résumé building, online job applications, and digital literacy. In addition, the Center will host monthly workshops focused on financial literacy, career development, and personal growth—programs designed to help women build confidence, develop practical skills, and create long-term pathways to stability.
