The Making of an Entrepreneur
From Sports Executive to Organizing Expert: A Story of Resilience and Reinvention

Sometimes, life’s journey requires us to experience darkness to truly appreciate the light. We can’t cherish our youth without the wisdom that comes with age.
Without walking through the fire, we wouldn’t appreciate the warmth of success. Without facing our fears, we wouldn’t know the thrill of overcoming them.
It’s the ultimate paradox: we can’t know good without bad. But it’s how we respond that truly matters. Our wild card is our resilience.
Who is Felicia Bechtel? Let’s talk!
As a former sports executive, I launched my career in sports marketing after college. I had the privilege of working with both the WWE and NFL, overseeing international markets and traveling 70% of the time.
After the birth of my three children (3 under 22 months), I made the courageous decision to leave my high-powered career and become a stay-at-home mom. Watching them grow and thrive was a true blessing.
When I decided to re-enter the workforce, I drew upon my organizational skills, honed from years of managing my children’s schedules. My oldest daughter and I co-founded Spotless Organization, and it quickly took off.
During this time, I faced one of my greatest challenges: a painful divorce after 23 years of marriage. But I refused to let it define me. Instead, I channeled my energy into building a successful business and creating a better life for myself and my children.
Spotless Organization started as a small, grassroots endeavor, but it quickly grew into a trusted and reputable business. Our team has expanded to seven members, and we’re known for our empathy, efficiency, and lasting results.
Whether you’re moving, downsizing, or simply seeking a more organized life, Spotless creates customized systems that make your home feel lighter and your life feel more in control.
I’m proud to say that my business has been recognized for its excellence, including being named a finalist for the Best of Bergen County, articles featured in 201 Magazine (twice), SC Voyager and even included in the Marquis Whos Who for my career. And with the launch of our innovative "Spotless Assistant," we’re continuing to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
So, remember: no matter what life throws your way, always find the courage to walk away from what’s holding you back and walk towards everything that’s meant for you.
Simple, Smart, Spotless.
