Her Story
About Alison
My career spans 30 years in advertising, where I worked across all sides of the spectrum at NBC, ABC, Comcast, and NPR. I was one of the lead builders for Fox News Digital before it evolved into what it is today. I served as the local national public radio rep for Notre Dame and managed a nationwide grant from StoryCorps in Washington, D.C. After my final career in that space, I embarked on a health journey that led me to discover my true calling. I have a very strong connection to the University of Notre Dame, where my father founded the Nanovic Institute, the European institute there. He was the OG of development at the University of Notre Dame. Now I'm launching multiple ventures including my design business Bougie AF, and I'm becoming the regional vice president for PFS Financial, which is like the faith-based Edward Jones that talks to middle America. This powers my not-for-profit, Helping Hands Wealth Management, which is all in the name of my father. I'm also developing Le Petit Chienne, a dog food company concept, running Dapper Dog doggy daycare in my basement, and planning to open a lymphatic massage clinic. I have a pipeline into Notre Dame where development people are forwarding me leads, and I'm going to be on the board next year. I'm currently competing nationally, ranking number 2 in the country for Maxim Magazine and placing third for fabulous over 40.

01What do you attribute your success to?
It's just wired into me from my dad. I've always been a person that almost likes to give gifts more than I like to get them. I just love to see how it's helped other people, you know what I mean. The worst thing somebody can do to me is be ungrateful, and then that really makes me mad. That giving spirit and wanting to help people is something that's been part of who I am from the beginning, and it drives everything I do.
