Prior to her current position, Bethany honed her expertise through a variety of athletic training roles at respected institutions. She served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Ball State University, working closely with the football program, and at Colorado College, where she provided comprehensive care to student-athletes across multiple sports. Her experience also includes a fellowship at Duke University, where she gained advanced clinical training and contributed to the holistic development of athletes. Additionally, Bethany worked with Bryan Health in Nebraska, deepening her knowledge of healthcare collaboration and athlete-centered care.

Bethany earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Western Michigan University’s Post-Professional Master’s Program and holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I attribute my success to my mom, who always encouraged me to express myself and follow my passions. She taught me the value of hard work and perseverance, reminding me that with dedication and effort, I can achieve any goal I set for myself. Her support and belief in me have been the foundation of my personal and professional growth.

My advice to young women entering this industry is to be confident in yourself and trust your abilities. Don’t let outside voices or opinions dictate your career path—stay true to your goals, work hard, and believe in your potential.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are **balance, growth, and well-being**. I prioritize staying active through working out and hiking, expanding my knowledge through reading, and taking time to relax and recharge by watching Netflix or traveling. These values help me stay grounded, motivated, and energized in all aspects of my life.
