Carrie Wilpula is the owner of Accelerated Billing & Collection Solutions, LLC, a women-owned medical billing company based in Clinton Township, Michigan. With over 27 years of experience in healthcare, Carrie has built a career supporting small and independent medical practices with billing, credentialing, and office setup. She is dedicated to helping doctors and clinic owners streamline administrative processes so they can focus on patient care, offering hands-on, HIPAA-compliant solutions without outsourcing.

Before founding her own company in 2013, Carrie honed her expertise in various healthcare roles, including practice manager and medical biller positions at Heart & Vascular Care, William Beaumont Hospital, and the Cardiovascular Institute of Michigan. Her experience spans full-service medical billing, revenue cycle management, insurance enrollment, workflow consulting, and auditing, giving her clients practical, results-driven support tailored to each practice. Carrie’s commitment to mentorship and professional development is reflected in her ongoing involvement with the AAPC and the Michigan Medical Billers Association, as well as her guidance to aspiring professionals in the field.

Beyond her professional achievements, Carrie values community, teamwork, and empowering others. She credits influential mentors for shaping her career and takes pride in paying it forward by helping others grow in healthcare administration. Outside of work, she enjoys supporting dog rescues and maintaining a positive, supportive environment both in her company and personal life, embodying her belief that dedication, expertise, and compassion are key to a thriving medical practice.
