Christina McKenzie

Christina McKenzie is a seasoned litigation paralegal and California Notary Public with more than five years of experience supporting attorneys and clients across construction, employment, immigration, and business law. Currently serving as a Senior Case Manager/Paralegal at Blackstone Global, she specializes in construction litigation, where she supports construction companies by organizing large volumes of documentation, preparing complex cases, and assisting with expert depositions and trials. Christina’s ability to balance meticulous attention to detail with efficiency under pressure has made her a trusted partner for both attorneys and field teams.
Her path to the legal profession was inspired by her mother, who encouraged her to pursue paralegal work given her natural strengths in organization and detail-oriented thinking. While some paralegals continue toward law school, Christina intentionally chose to build her career in this role, valuing the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to litigation without the added financial burden and responsibilities of becoming an attorney. This perspective, combined with her procedural discipline and client-focused approach, has allowed her to thrive in fast-paced and high-stakes environments.
Over the course of her career, Christina has managed active caseloads across state and federal courts, drafted pleadings and discovery, coordinated e-discovery, and streamlined workflows using tools such as Clio, Westlaw, and InfoTrack. She is widely recognized for her ability to keep litigation teams organized and prepared while ensuring that deadlines and compliance requirements are consistently met. Christina began her legal career in immigration law and later developed a deep interest in construction law while working at a community association law firm, where she gained exposure to matters involving construction defects and claims.
Christina holds a Paralegal Certification from California State University, East Bay, where she also earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration. Known for her integrity, reliability, and calm presence in high-pressure situations, she continues to build a reputation as a results-driven litigation paralegal who ensures every case is prepared with precision.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my motivation to help people and achieve satisfying outcomes for both businesses and individuals. That sense of purpose keeps me focused and drives the quality of my work.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the paralegal field is to stay curious, ask questions, find your niche, and show genuine interest in your work. These habits not only help you grow but also set you apart in a competitive industry.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value giving back personally and professionally. In the past, I have donated to organizations like The Nature Conservancy, and I am especially interested in supporting the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s and advancing cancer research. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and connected through sports. I’ve spent time dancing and playing both tennis and pickleball, but I personally prefer tennis because of its competitive edge and physical demands. Staying physically fit as an adult is not always easy, but I believe it’s important.
