Her Story
About Faith
What really inspired me to get into this field is that I saw so many women that were battered, hurt, not actually living out their full potential. Being a wife first, I wanted to see wife mentorship because there were so many women that didn't know how to be good wives and they didn't have the tools. So I wanted to partner up, do classes, seminars, and things like that, and outreach to help them. But then there were also single mothers that didn't have husbands but they needed the tools. So one of the things that I designed was courses for them to empower and uplift women through mentorship, encouragement, and community support. My mission is to help women walk confidently in their purpose by providing guidance and life skills. One of the big ones was Dress for Success, the opportunity that promotes self-worth, professionalism, and personal growth. I believe that every woman deserves to feel beautiful, empowered, and capable of achieving greatness and walking in a soft life. In my work, I do a lot of training, mentorship, seminars, professional development, and coaching. I also run summer camps for young girls, teaching character development and teaching our babies how to be ladies.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Faith
01What do you attribute your success to?
I actually attribute my success to, first, my relationship with God, being a woman of God. But also watching other successful women that were doing great things and great mothers in leadership roles. Seeing women who were leading with excellence really inspired me and showed me what was possible.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is about my ability to encourage others to be the best people that they can be. People have told me that I have compassion and the ability to motivate and encourage people to become all that they need to be. That feedback has really shaped how I approach my work and my calling.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
One thing that I would tell other women is don't give up. Get all the tools you need, the resources, the tools you need to develop that personal growth. Because if you don't finish it all the way out, you'll never really see who you really can become. Don't give up, continue to strive for excellence, continue to strive to be that woman that you've been called to be.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I guess the biggest challenges in my field is the ability to see someone completely from the beginning to the end. When they come in, they may not have all the tools that they need, but at the end, one of my goals is to see personal growth and development. Because how we love ourselves, we teach others how to love us. If you don't love yourself, we can't teach anybody else anything. How you love yourself is teaching people how to kind of love you. That's one of my biggest mottos in order to work this thing out the correct way.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are important to me in my personal and professional life are rooted in compassion and empowering other women. I believe in treating others with kindness and respect, encouraging growth and confidence and purpose. Personally, I value love and family. Having a husband that gives me great support makes my life really easy because I can go do all these great, amazing things. Professionally, I try to lead with excellence, serve with compassion, and inspire positive change. I help others succeed through mentorship, encouragement, and life support. It's like throwing out the lifeline for the next woman.
