Her Story

About Natalie

Long before coaching was a profession, or something I ever imagined doing for a living, I was the person people came to when they were trying to figure out their next step, work through a challenge, or find the courage to grow into something bigger. I naturally found myself asking questions, encouraging people to think bigger, and helping them take the next step toward who they were capable of becoming.

At my core, I believe that a rising tide raises all ships. When one leader grows in confidence, clarity, and courage, the impact spreads—to their teams, their organizations, and the people they serve. Because leadership is rarely just about strategy. Most of the time, it’s about helping people find the courage, clarity, and communication they need to move forward. I believe leadership is one of the most powerful ways people can live out their calling, because when a leader grows, everyone they influence grows with them.

Much of my work centers around helping individual leaders become stronger communicators and more effective leaders. I also partner with organizations to develop their leadership teams and improve communication across the organization so there is less friction, less confusion, and less “organizational drag” when it comes time to execute important initiatives.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with leaders at every level; from individuals learning to find their voice as communicators to leadership teams responsible for aligning hundreds of people around complex initiatives. Some of my clients come to me looking for personal coaching to strengthen their communication and leadership presence. Others bring me in as a consultant to help their teams align, develop their leaders, and move their organizations forward more effectively.

As a faith-driven entrepreneur, my work is ultimately rooted in something deeper. I believe leadership is both a responsibility and a calling. I help leaders grow in courage, character, and communication so they can lead their teams with clarity, alignment, and purpose—and ultimately fulfill their God-given mission. Any time I have the opportunity to encourage someone searching for purpose, share my faith, or point people toward the hope found in the Gospel—that is the greatest joy of all.

When I’m not coaching or consulting, my husband and I enjoy life on a small farm in rural Missouri where we’re raising kids, cows, cats, and chickens—and learning daily lessons about faith, hard work, and stewardship.

01What do you attribute your success to?

First and foremost, I attribute every bit of my success to the Lord. I wouldn’t have a company today if I hadn’t felt His call to step out in faith and take the leap to build something of my own.

Along the way, two things have continued to shape my journey: a deep love for learning and a genuine passion for seeing the people around me succeed. My faith is the foundation for everything I do, and it’s what drives me to help others grow, lead with courage, and step into the full potential God placed inside of them.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received came from my Director of Nurses when I worked at the hospital. She used to tell me: "Always do the right thing." This simple principle has guided me throughout my career and continues to shape how I approach my work and relationships with clients and colleagues.

In addition, the best life advice I ever received came from my mom. She always told me, "Go the extra mile and leave everyone and everything better than you found them."

Can you imagine living in a world where everyone operated by these two principles.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

If I could give one piece of advice to young women entering this field, it would be this: focus on becoming the kind of leader people trust.

Develop your character as much as your skill set. Learn constantly. Ask questions. Seek out mentors who will challenge you and help you grow. Don’t be afraid to take opportunities that stretch you, even if you don’t feel completely ready yet. Growth rarely happens inside our comfort zones.

And above all, stay grounded in who you are and what you believe. When your identity and purpose are clear, you can lead with courage, communicate with confidence, and create the kind of impact that goes far beyond your own success.

Leadership isn’t about having everything figured out; it’s about having the courage to keep growing. And when a woman grows into the leader she was created to be, the impact rarely stops with her - it spreads to every life she touches.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in coaching right now is that the field is a bit like the Wild Wild West. There's not a lot of regulation that establishes who is a professional coach, which means there's a lot of people who can come into coaching at an entry level and be successful, but there's also, unfortunately, a lot of opportunity for people to get taken advantage of as well. Another opportunity that exists is that coaching reduces the barrier of entry for people to grow themselves personally, professionally, and spiritually. Where before, they would have had to invest in a university in order to grow in their skill sets, I think the opportunity of coaching and consulting allows people to grow themselves without spending tons and tons and tons and tons of money. It also allows them to start where they are.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide both my work and my personal life are faith, family, courage, excellence, freedom, and growth. Together, they shape how I make decisions, how I lead, and the kind of life and impact I hope to build.

Faith is the foundation for everything else. It shapes how I approach leadership, relationships, and responsibility, and it reminds me that the work we do should ultimately serve something greater than ourselves.

Family comes next. My family keeps me grounded and reminds me that success isn’t just about professional accomplishments, it’s about building a life that reflects what truly matters.

Courage is essential in leadership. Many of the most important decisions we make require us to step forward even when things are uncertain or uncomfortable, and courage is what allows us to move forward anyway.

Excellence is something I strive for in everything I do. Not perfection, but a commitment to doing meaningful work, showing up prepared, and continually improving.

Freedom is also important to me. I believe people do their best work when they have the space to think, grow, and take ownership of their ideas and their leadership.

And finally, growth. I believe we are meant to keep learning and developing throughout our lives and the best leaders are the ones who remain curious, humble, and committed to becoming better.

At the end of the day, these values shape not just the work I do, but the kind of life and legacy I hope to build.
