Pamela Nielsen is a visionary artist and founder of Pamela Productions, LLC, where she creates large-scale, energy-infused artworks that transform spaces and inspire healing. Since beginning her artistic journey in 2003, Pamela has developed a distinctive style centered on what she calls “color energy”—a powerful force she both senses and channels through her brushstrokes. Her vibrant, flowing pieces are known for their emotional resonance and ability to empower environments, finding homes with private collectors, designers, and architects around the world.
Pamela’s artistic process is deeply personal and rooted in transformation. What began as a way to heal from childhood trauma evolved into a lifelong mission to share the restorative power of color with others. Through years of experimentation, she created her own tools to achieve sweeping, fluid strokes on large metal and acrylic canvases—some spanning over twelve feet. Her collaborative spirit and intuitive connection with clients allow her to translate emotion and energy into visual form, crafting bespoke works that reflect both the individual and the space they inhabit.
A graduate of Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Public Relations and Applied Communication, Pamela blends creativity with a strong sense of purpose and storytelling. She believes, as color theorist Frank Mahnke once said, that “color creates a sensory experience that impacts us physiologically.” For Pamela, painting is not only an artistic expression but a spiritual journey—from darkness to light. Through her art, she hopes to empower others to experience the same transformation and to infuse their spaces with energy, hope, and beauty.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to following my curiosity and being open to unexpected beginnings. My art career actually started when I was shopping at TJ Maxx and bought a few small plates that I decided to paint on. I had no idea that simple moment would open the door to a fulfilling creative journey. My brother encouraged me to start selling those early pieces, and from there, my work evolved into larger prints and eventually the large-scale artworks I create today. His support—and the courage to take that first small step—made all the difference.
