Financial Representative
Western & Southern Life
Jacksonville, FL 32256

Veronica Rosario (she/her) is a Financial Representative based in Jacksonville, serving clients with life insurance, annuities, retirement planning, and Medicare solutions at Western & Southern Life. She focuses on building long-term relationships that protect families from financial hardship and help clients plan for a secure retirement, emphasizing benefits review and tailored recommendations over quick sales.

Her career developed from administrative and healthcare support roles into licensed insurance work; earlier positions included vendor and billing roles where she supported patients and provider networks, and she advanced into specialized financial roles such as an IVF financial teaching specialist at Brown Fertility and vendor maintenance work at One Call Care Management. Those experiences strengthened her client-service skills and informed her compassionate approach to financial guidance.

Veronica’s professional philosophy centers on relationship-building, client education, and long-term protection. She values steady, consultative support for individuals and families navigating benefits and retirement choices, and she remains active in her local community and faith-based volunteering while continuing to grow her practice and client network.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I would say challenges grow us, if we're willing to accept the challenge. Having God give me the strength to continue to move forward has been essential to my success. I've learned to see obstacles more as a challenge to look up to, instead of something that defeats you. It's about being willing to face those challenges and having faith to keep pushing forward.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've received is to do things that make you uncomfortable so you can be comfortable later on. This advice has really shaped how I approach my career, especially in an industry where I have to constantly push myself outside my comfort zone.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say don't give up easily in the beginning, because it takes time. This is a relationship industry, so you need to focus more on protecting families and helping individuals, as opposed to trying to make money. The key is to not give up and remember that building those relationships and truly helping people is what matters most.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I've faced in my field is getting out of my comfort zone. I'm typically shy and introverted, but in this industry, you have to talk to people, to strangers, and prospect. You have to look for innovative and different ways to market myself and put myself out there. As for opportunities, there are chances to eventually grow your own firm and have your own business. You can also set yourself up for retirement comfortably if you invest properly into your nest egg.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Family and my relationship with Christ are the most important values to me. Having a good balance between spending time with my children and going to church, while also being able to work and provide for my family, is what matters most. Relationships in general, especially with family, are at the core of everything I do.
