How She Learned to Protect Her Creative Energy
Making room for original thinking in a world full of demands.
Making room for original thinking in a world full of demands.
I learned to protect my creative energy by directing it where it is valued, rather than forcing it into unwelcoming spaces. Using my discernment has allowed me to find spaces where my ideas can thrive and, if needed, build those supportive environments myself.
I stopped scheduling creativity and started protecting the space it needs unhurried, unstructured time where my innate intuitive intelligence can speak before my calendar does. Ideas don't arrive on demand; they arrive when I've made room for them.
I've learned to give my creativity a little breathing room, whether that's baking, taking a walk, or having a conversation without an agenda. So much of my work is about bringing people together, and my best ideas happen when I have time to notice what would make someone feel welcomed, connected, or considered.
