From dropout to MBA: a journey I never thought possible

As I enter the final semester of my MBA, I can’t help but reflect on the road that brought me here.

As a teenager, a major life event forced me to drop out of high school. At the time, I believed my educational dreams were over. A Master’s degree? That felt like a world I’d never reach.

But life has a way of showing you who you are—and who you can become. I made a decision: I wouldn’t be a statistic. I wouldn’t be a failure. I went back to high school, became a first-generation graduate, and then a first-generation college student.

Now, standing at the threshold of completing my MBA, I’m reminded of the promise I made to myself: to rise, to persevere, and to never give up on my potential.

To anyone who feels like doors are closed to them—this is your reminder: you can open any door.

If you’ve walked a road others said was impossible, I’d love to hear your story. Let’s celebrate the power of resilience together.
