Her Interview

Ten minutes with Alicia

01What do you attribute your success to?

I think it’s a combination of luck and empathy. I’ve been fortunate to be in the right environments and around the right people, but I also really try to understand where my clients are coming from and what they need.

That perspective helps me build stronger relationships and support them in a way that feels more thoughtful and intentional.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Be someone people enjoy working with, not just someone who gets the job done. Skills matter, but relationships are what open doors and create long-term opportunities.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don’t wait until you feel fully confident to speak up or take on new opportunities. A lot of growth comes from putting yourself in situations where you’re still learning.

Also, focus on building real relationships. Being knowledgeable is important, but being someone people trust and want to work with will take you even further.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

There’s so much data available in the housing industry right now, but not all of it is easy to interpret or apply.

The biggest opportunity is helping clients cut through the noise and focus on what actually matters for their business. Being able to translate data into clear, practical takeaways is becoming more valuable than ever.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Consistency, reliability, and connection.

I try to show up the same way every time, whether it’s on a client call or in my personal life. I also really value building strong relationships and being someone people can trust and depend on.
