Her Story

About Chloe

Born and raised in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, sports have always been a huge part of my life. I have a lot of family that went to the University of Southern California, and we had many family friends who worked there, so I grew up going to USC Trojans football games, basketball games, and pretty much everything. I played basketball, soccer, tennis, and ran track all the way through high school, and in high school I really found a passion for soccer and wanted to take my career to the next level at the collegiate level. Following high school, I continued my academic and athletic journey at the College of Idaho in Caldwell, Idaho, where I played soccer for 5 years (I had an extra year of eligibility from COVID). I graduated in 4 years with a bachelor's in Exercise Science and Marketing and Digital Media, and then for that fifth year, I wrapped up with a graduate certificate in Sports Administration. My athletic director at the College of Idaho, Regan Rossi, became someone I got super close with during my time as a collegiate soccer player, and she really influenced and motivated me to have the dreams and aspirations to be an athletic director one day. Her being a female figure in a very male-dominated career was very inspiring. I then came to Boise State for my master's in Athletic Leadership, where I spent two years as a graduate assistant. About a month prior to my graduation from my master's program, I got hired on full-time, which I consider my biggest career accomplishment so far because it really pointed out how much work I put into my everyday job here and how dedicated I really was. This place has turned into my second home. Now, as the Assistant Director of Premium Seating, my goal every day is to help the overall student-athlete experience. I had a really amazing experience as a student athlete at the College of Idaho, and I want to repay what individuals above me gave to me in that experience by helping future college athletes and providing the best experience possible for them so they truly enjoy their four years at their university.

01What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I'm very family-oriented. As an only child, I'm very close with not only my parents, but my extended family as well, so I really value time with my parents, my cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. I've really grown my relationships with my entire family, specifically my parents - we're super, super close. I also really value spending time with my friends, whether that's co-workers or my former teammates from the College of Idaho. Thankfully, still being in the Treasure Valley here at Boise State, I live only about 30 to 40 minutes away from the College of Idaho, so I'm still able to have really close relationships with the coaching staff, former teammates, and current players. That's really big for myself as well, finding different ways to give back to the College of Idaho, whether that's just trying to go to as many things as possible or just helping those future athletes. In my work, my goal every day, especially being a former student athlete at the college level, is I want to help the overall student-athlete experience. I had a really amazing experience as a student athlete at the College of Idaho, and I want to repay what individuals above me gave to me in that experience by helping future college athletes and providing the best experience as possible for them so they truly enjoy their four years at the university they're at.
