Her Story

About Chrissy

Chrissy is a wife, mom, and fleet manager who stays busy both at work and at home. Her husband is a truck driver, so they’re no strangers to life on the road, and together they’re raising three kids who keep them on their toes. Their golden retriever, Allie, is right in the middle of all the chaos and adventure.

When we’re not working, you can usually find them on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where she loves spending time boating, camping, and just enjoying the water. She values family time, staying active, and making the most out of every moment—whether that’s at home, outdoors, or somewhere in between.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Chrissy

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience and my ability to adapt and change. In an industry that's constantly evolving you have to be able to adjust quickly, stay focused, and keep moving forward.

I've learned how to navigate challenges without losing momentum, whether that's implementing new technology, or managing change across multiple teams. Being adaptable allows me to find solutions, and being resilient ensures I follow through.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've received was to never bring a problem without first thinking through a possible solution. Early in my career, a supervisor told me to come prepared with an idea- even if it wasn't perfect. That mindset stuck with me. It pushed me to think more critically, take ownership and approach challenges with a solutions-focused mindset.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Speak up and own your own seat at the table. Your perspective matters, especially when it comes to safety, process improvement, and team development. Confidence grows with experience- don't be afraid to step into opportunities before you feel fully ready.

Be "hands on" and never be afraid to learn.

Stay focused on safety and doing things the right way even when it isn't easy.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of my biggest challenges is managing rapid growth across a large, multi-state fleet—especially with the pace of mergers and acquisitions. Bringing newly acquired companies into alignment with standardized processes, safety programs, and technology requires a balance of structure, patience, and adaptability.

Another challenge is driving consistency across different markets. Each location has its own habits and leadership styles, so ensuring everyone is following the same safety expectations, reporting standards, and fleet procedures takes constant communication, training, and follow-up.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Empathy is at the core of how I lead and live. Whether it's supporting my team, working with drivers or being present for my family, I believe understanding people and where they're coming from builds trust and stronger relationships.

Accountability is just as important. I believe in taking ownership of my actions and decisions, and I expect the same from those around me. That mindset drives results and crates a culture of reliability and respect.

Safety is a top priority in my professional life, but also carries into my personal life. Making decisions that protect people is something I take seriously.

And finally, growth. I'm always looking for ways to improve- personally, professionally, and as a leader. I believe in learning from challenges, embracing change and helping others grow along the way.
