Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I would say the key to my success has been being able to pivot. Earlier on in my career, I was pretty successful because I was determined and specific, and I wasn't always great at pivoting. But I think that ultimately, what's benefited me the most has been being able to pivot. By that, I mean trying different types of work, working for different companies and different people, and not being stuck in one set or idea of what my work should look like. I love the opportunity to be creative, and I love the challenge of doing that under different circumstances. Being challenged in the work that I do and being able to use the skills and gifts that come naturally to me is what I really enjoy the most. That combination of creativity and challenge, along with my willingness to try new things and not limit myself to one vision of what my career should be, has been the foundation of my success.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice would be to try and test as many things out as possible and just follow what interests you the most. On top of that, follow what you're naturally gifted in. A lot of people will say follow your bliss, follow your passion, but if your passion is something that you're not good at, it's going to be difficult. That doesn't mean it's not worth doing or pursuing, but I think finding ways to mesh them together is really the best course of action. So if you're really passionate about music but you're really talented in writing but you can't sing, it makes more sense to pursue a career as a songwriter rather than as a singer. I think it's just finding ways to move towards your passion but using your natural gifts and abilities to get there. That would be my advice whether you're looking to work in this field or honestly any field.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to her in both her professional and personal life include continuous learning, creativity, and self-improvement. She prioritizes maintaining a balanced lifestyle through reading and writing, staying active with fitness, exploring cooking, and expanding her knowledge of personal finance, investing, and spiritual interests like astrology and tarot
