Her Interview
Ten minutes with Erica
01What do you attribute your success to?
The incredible people I surround myself with. I enjoy being around people with the highest grit and work ethic, with different points of view than myself.
The people around me, are the people I want to either be a little bit more like, or that I want to make proud.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Network. Meeting new people, making favorable introductions, and expanding the people I know is how I can be successful in my career.
Being told to get out into the community and get introduced to the right people has helped my career grow to what it is.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't let being a woman stand in your way. Being a woman in the financial services industry, in any capacity, isn't an obstacle, it's an opportunity. It's the chance to reach the households and individuals that can be overlooked for something as important as financial planning.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value Loyalty. Maybe it comes from being a Browns fan, I don't have a choice.
I believe loyalty is a value that is often over shadowed but I find it to be more than just staying with one thing. Loyalty is support, honesty, committment and integrity.
