Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of persistence, curiosity, and a focus on solving real problems for my clients. Over the years, partnering with Fortune 500 companies and public sector organizations has taught me that understanding their challenges, unblocking roadblocks, and helping them achieve their digital transformation goals is what truly drives impact. I’ve also leaned on my experience across startups and enterprise tech, which taught me to adapt quickly, learn continuously, and always put people first.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received is don't let others hold you back and follow your intuition. There are so many times that women, especially women, have imposter syndrome, and I've fallen into that game as well. However, you know what's best for you, you know what to do. Even if the path is unclear, if people are holding you back and you have that urge in your stomach and in your chest that you need to go do something, do it, because you know better than anybody else. And while it's okay to gain advice from your sphere of influence and your network, you're the one that knows what to do best.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering tech sales is to push past imposter syndrome, trust your intuition, and actively lean on your network and mentors for guidance and support.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest opportunities in tech sales right now lie in AI and digital transformation, as many customers have visionary goals but need guidance to overcome implementation challenges. At the same time, the field faces the ongoing challenge of addressing the underrepresentation of women in technology.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

When I work in a corporate job, sometimes you feel like you lose your purpose a little bit, especially when you're working with very large companies that have investors. It doesn't feel as rewarding, and so being able to be on the board and being able to have my own company where I teach people how to cook fulfills that purpose. Otherwise, sometimes you can feel a little bit lonely and lose your way a little bit, especially in the remote environment that so many of us live in today. It's really nice to have boots on the ground and to support the community and really have your cup filled with things outside of the corporate world. It's really important to me that my girls understand the community efforts, and so whenever I can, I like to take them volunteering with me so that they can see how you give back to the community, and not only that, what is the true impact that you can make in the community for people that may not have the resources or just need somebody to be there for them.
