Jessica Jones is a dedicated mental health professional whose work bridges clinical expertise with lived experience. With over 16 years supporting neurodivergent individuals and those facing complex challenges, she has developed a practice that combines cognitive and art therapy, care coordination, and practical tools to help people navigate trauma, burnout, chronic illness, and everyday stress. Jessica’s approach is rooted in empathy and real-world experience, ensuring that her clients receive support that is both actionable and compassionate.

Currently, she serves as Senior Peer Support Specialist at Better Health, where she empowers individuals to take control of their healthcare journeys while reducing isolation and promoting resilience. In addition, Jessica has worked as a Cognitive Therapist at Thrive Therapy and as a Neurodivergent Coach at Great Minds Clinic, honing her ability to provide personalized, strategic, and meaningful support to those who need it most.

Jessica holds degrees and certifications in Cognitive Science and Psycholinguistics from Charter College, Mental Health and Nutrition from the University of Canterbury, Art Therapy from Oxford and an Associate of Science in Air Traffic Control from the Community College of the Air Force. Her professional philosophy emphasizes that healing is messy, resilience is earned, and meaningful support requires both empathy and action. Through her work, she strives to make mental health care accessible, practical, and deeply human.

I attribute my success to my clinical training, my ability to blend art, science, and strategy, and my commitment to advocating for real people in real life—along with the perspective I’ve gained through traveling and working with Delta Airlines.

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are embracing mistakes as learning opportunities, serving my community—like volunteering with the St. Vincent Society to address food insecurity—and pursuing my passions in art therapy and the role of nutrition in mental health.
