Her Story
About Leanna
My journey has always been rooted in a love for process, structure, and serving others. After earning my accounting degree in 2010–2011, I found my stride in a field that felt as natural as solving algebra, where organization and management meet purpose. I’ve spent the past decade growing with Lloyd, Connelly Walker, building both skill and stability.
In 2018, I stepped into entrepreneurship, launching Leading Mobile Notary Services LLC. What began as a service became a mission—meeting people where they are, whether facing transportation challenges, health issues, or demanding schedules, and providing access when they need it most.
Along the way, mentors shaped my path. Dajuana Moore deepened my understanding of civil law and invested in my future, while Tamara Fletcher instilled discipline, leadership, and a broader vision of what’s possible.
Those experiences led me to law school, where I am now pursuing my J.D., with plans to graduate in 2028. I aim to specialize in commercial litigation—focusing on business contracts and bankruptcy—bringing together my foundation in accounting, my passion for service, and a clear purpose: to help businesses and people navigate complexity with confidence.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Leanna
01What do you attribute your success to?
My faith is the foundation of who I am and how I move through the world. It shapes how I show up, stay grounded, and remain focused. I came to it fully just before a pivotal birthday, and the difference between who I was then and now is undeniable. Each day begins with prayer and devotion, centering me before anything else. That spiritual discipline steadies me, keeps me from becoming overwhelmed, and fuels everything I’m called to accomplish.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
"No matter how people behave, don't let people change who you are. Instead, be you, a person of excellent spirit, integrity, and of principle."
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say take the time to invest in yourself and your skills. Make sure you make it a priority to reach back and help others along the way - you don't have to wait until you get your degree. You can look around to see how you can be an investment now. One of the things that I do is organize professor appreciation gifts at the end of each semester with my classmates as a thank you and an encouragement to them to keep sowing into the next generation, the next class coming behind us. Just look for opportunities to be a blessing through the course of the journey, and not just wait for the destination.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Mediators/Conciliators: Help parties resolve conflicts outside of court. Pro Bono attorneys who use their abilities to serve the community for free.
A couple of my goals are to become a mediator and partner with the local bar association to periodically offer services of legal advice, take on a case, or mediate in a family dispute.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Being kind is a core part of my faith, because every person deserves kindness and respect. You never know how your kindness can impact somebody's whole day, or even change the course of their life. I believe in diligence - whatever you do, do it in excellence. And I also believe that you should do it with the right spirit, have the right attitude in whatever you do, because it impacts the outcome.
