Her Story

About Michelle

Michelle Arceneaux is an accomplished operations and logistics leader with more than three decades of experience in the retail, grocery, and transportation industries. I began my career in the grocery business at the entry level, working carryout positions before steadily advancing into deli, bakery, management, and eventually food service leadership. Along the way, I learned every aspect of the business from the ground up, which shaped my leadership style and gave me a deep appreciation for teamwork, customer service, and operational excellence. Today, I serve as an Operations Manager at Martin Resource Management Corporation while continuing my work in logistics leadership and supply chain operations, managing teams, building vendor relationships, and helping organizations improve efficiency and profitability.

Throughout my career, I have built a reputation for developing high-performing teams, improving operational processes, and driving measurable business growth. In previous leadership roles with companies such as Riverstone Logistics and CRST The Transportation Solution, Inc., I successfully managed large-scale logistics operations, negotiated vendor contracts, optimized transportation systems, and consistently exceeded financial and productivity goals. Earlier in my career, I served as a District Manager overseeing more than 300 employees across multiple states, where I helped increase profits, strengthen employee retention, and lead major retail initiatives for national brands. I am passionate about motivating teams, mentoring future leaders, and finding innovative solutions that improve both customer experience and business performance.

Education and continuous learning have always been important to me. I earned my bachelor’s degree later in life, becoming the first-generation college graduate in my family, an accomplishment that remains one of my proudest achievements. I also hold food safety certifications in Louisiana and Texas and earned a specialized Certificate of Salumiere focused on cured meats and charcuterie handling. Beyond my professional work, I am deeply committed to service and community involvement through organizations such as IDDBA and AG Gives, as well as leadership roles within my Catholic parish. Whether leading operations, supporting independent retailers, or mentoring others, I believe in lifelong learning, servant leadership, and creating opportunities for people and organizations to grow together.
