Tiffany Novotny is a highly skilled contracts professional with extensive experience in contract administration, negotiation, and project management. Currently serving as a Grant & Contract Officer at Arizona State University, she oversees subawards for the ASU Knowledge Enterprise, Office of Research & Sponsored Projects Administration. Known for her analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail, Tiffany has consistently delivered high-quality results across complex federal and international contracts while implementing continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Prior to her current role, Tiffany gained significant experience in the private sector, including leadership positions at Universal Creative, where she supervised contracts and led key initiatives across projects spanning domestic and international markets. She also served as a Senior Legal Analyst at Nexant and as a self-employed Legal Consultant, where she honed her expertise in legal compliance, commercial contracts, and process optimization. I attribute my success to my passion for lifelong learning and my ability to thrive in Academia, where education has always been my true calling. Over the past 25 years, I have dedicated myself to this field while embracing the beauty and opportunities life has to offer as a successful woman.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to fully embrace being a woman and to strive for success with confidence. We have the strength to persevere through any challenge and emerge stronger.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this field is that you can achieve anything—even if it happens on your own timeline, not when others expect it. Trust your journey and remain focused on your goals.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities and challenges in my field is fully embracing my power as a strong, successful woman who understands her true worth. It’s about stepping into leadership and influence with confidence.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value being present for everyone who needs my support and guidance. I thrive on challenges, and I take pride in my dedication to excellence—such as when I relocated to Florida for a project with Universal Studios in Beijing, where our team was recognized for our outstanding work.
